I wasn't shocked with the first pick; People are sleeping on Aiden. I bet he comes in as the opening day starter, and he is going to win the division. That's right, watch it. And Minschew is going to fit in perfectly. AP knew this is what he wanted to do all along with Aiden. I bet he was laughing the whole time listening to everyone talk about needing a quarterback. Our second-year guy is better than any of these rookies. He throws a great ball, strong arm, smart, good size, and smart. He put sixty-two on the chargers, took out Denver, almost beat the chiefs twice and was 3-1 in division. Keep sleeping, Aiden will just keep grinding and winning.

I've been a Raiders fan since Stabler. I was hoping they'd pick CB Arnold at 13 but Bowers is an improvement over Mayer and if there's an injury we have depth at TE

Being from the bay always knew who Brock bowers was, and I was definitely still confused when we drafted him. Jaw dropped and all, then after a few minutes knew it was the smartest move at the time after seeing how far the CBs fell. Got a dog in bowers. Any QB would love to be here next season if Minshew or AOC don’t pan out. Building a great offensive foundation so far tho with weapons and OLine.
They can run 12,21,11, and 22 personnel without changing out players. That’s insane.

It’s understandable that a lot of folks don’t get what’s happening; the synergy between TT and AP, just how smart and accurate AOC is, and how potentially potent this draft was (for a lot of teams). And people should be aware, this is a new regime and new players that will need half of next season to develop, advance, and eventually jell. Most people don’t have the time to follow and keep up w every detail so it’s only natural -especially w a loosing franchise- to scream when anything new happens. But make no mistake: these guys are building a championship team the Niners wish to God they had.

@@whatsup7253 Not sure what that means. 4th round pick and 3rd string QB became the starter with 9 games left in the season. Overall he went 5-5 with 3rd round QB reps before he became the starter. Oh wait the OC also got fired with the HC so the QB coach with no experience called plays for those 9 games.
Watch his highlights from last season. His arm and processing is top shelf. He actually ran a 4.6 at the combine. He is way more athletic than his reputation. Its bullshit how people talk about him.

Underrated because of the 8-9 record last year.
Never should’ve lost to Chicago. Never should have lost to Pittsburg, Detroit, or Minnesota.
That game vs Miami or Indy? They were winnable but pathetic play calling and poor execution by a rookie QB sunk the season.

I'm very happy with this draft. Bowers, JPJ, DJ Glaze,Trey Taylor, MJ Devonshire, and all the rest are gonna ball out!! This was the best draft the Raiders have had in years, maybe DECADES!!
Loved it. I know Glaze in 3 seems like a bit of a reach but Tackles were going off in the 3rd round so we secured our guy while we could. Bowers is a beast, JBJ is an elite player to fortify the blind side and I love the potential of the defensive players we picked up later in the draft. Also, having a swiss army knife to back like Dylan Loube will be awesome. Dude has spirit and moxy.
TE, HB, Slot...even a WR on some plays...lots of opportunities for Raiders to play Bowers. All depends on drawn up plays by Getsy...and I am told he can use two TE's. I was looking for Fuaga
at #13...very shocked when I heard Brock's name called. Not now, after the draft and understanding all 8 picks. The Raiders also have a luxury...they can pick up a FA and or trade if they have a void that cannot be filled. Wilkins, Mattison, and Gallup are amazing examples of what Mark's dictum and Telasco's dealings in filling or backing up real needs. Three words describe the Raiders...JUST WIN, BABY! (ps...W-L Totals in Las Vegas...Raiders...6.5 Games...I'll take the "OVER").

Travis Kelce is Not a good blocker. Brock was the best pick at 13. Not many teams that run 12 personnel with Two good to great pass catching tight ends. They are both sneaky good blockers. Michael needed a year but is poised for a great season. This opens up the whole offense and people are blind to see it. The draft was great and we still have more free agency and possible trades to go. We should all want Aiden to win Starting QB because that would mean his progress is at or near Gardner’s level. We know Gardner. We don’t know Aiden’s ceiling though if he wins. Best overall team I’ve seen in awhile.
I love what Laube and Eichenberg bring as well!
First pick of the draft wasn't sure what to think, second pick I felt better 3rd pick felt even better then I started to listen more, totally love the way it worked out I think we did well.

I couldn't be more excited! Every pick was right where it was supposed to be! Sure, I would've dug Fuaga at #13, but taking Bowers instead was a heavy juice before taking JPJ at #44! All of the remaining picks identified needs! At the onset, this draft looks to be excellent!

I think this was the best draft ever! So many weapons. Even good undrafted pickups as well! Minshew is my QB. He has experience and he also beat us on our playoff run with a hot defense.
One thing to note is that most of their picks are players that have versatility if you actually look into it
Also, agreed on Taylor! This dude can possibly start at S or be a DOMINANT nickel, if that's what he's asked to do!

I feel that Bowers was a great pick.. Especially with the new Kickoff rule. That is the X-Factor nobody seems to be talking about.. Every team now needs a sort of hybrid Rugby sort of dude.. It makes sense to me.

My favorite he wasn't in this draft but it's number 98 Maxx Crosby he's not just a workhorse he's a whole team of war horses
The only thing that bugs me is we needed defensive help and we could’ve picked literally any player on the defensive side of the draft. I really hope they know what they are doing because I can guarantee you at least a couple of these kids are going to be amazing on the defensive side of the ball and I just hope this isn’t another failed draft. Also, Kelse is only as good as he is because of the person who throws him the ball. It’s not the only reason why he is amazing but definitely a part of it with those extended broken plays. I don't think Mayer is on the outside. He's too good for that. This was a simple choice of more of the same. Well have the defenses asking, "Who's it gonna be this time? Who's gonna get the ball this time?" I see what AP and Tellesco are trying to do.
Bowers is about the same size as Todd Christiansen.
It's simple. Build a team and get a QB when you can. If you already have a QB, he has yet to prove it. He will get his chance this season. AP and Talesco aren;t going anywhere in one season, especially after this draft.
No need to complicate it, it's very fucking simple.
