34:30 Fun Fact: The Bonus Stage Trophy (where you have to beat up the car) if a reference to the classic Street Fighter games. I think after winning 5 matches in a row, you get a bonus stage to destroy a car
The Strange Mask and Calbot move are both very on-the-nose references to SloClap's previous game (/masterpiece) Absolver. Every character in that game would be wearing masks, a conduit to enter the dream world the entire game takes place in (the entire game is one long training regimen to finally become an Absolver when you leave). The masks in the museum are all from Absolver and could be worn by your character there. The Calbot move was the most rare move in the game. In that game, moves had to be unlocked by blocking and countering them from an opponent enough until you memorised them, then you had to defeat your opponent. Calbot could only be found on a unique enemy, Calbot, who was naked and only used one move, Calbot. The reason it was so rare is because Calbot had no fixed spawn, and would instead be found sprinting full speed around the map randomly at random times of the day. When confronted he would move towards you and spam-slap the shit out of you, until you either easily memorised the move and smoked him, or choked, got slapped to death, and he ran off. The issue was, when a player killed Calbot he would obviously be gone for a random amount of time, meaning the majority of players would never see him even once in a whole playthrough

I feel like the squeaky noise you heard while fighting is a reference to kung pow enter the fist where one character that takes himself to seriously walks around with squeaking shoes.
"Please stop! Wimp Lo sucks as a fighter, a child can beat him!" "Well I'm going to count to 3. If I hear one more friggin' squeak, I'm going to take his shoes and shove them up his..."

You must be amazing at video games because it's crazy to think you beat Yang before you even spent 8000 points on the most useful upgrade at the shrine. It took me over 20 hours to just beat level 3. At 100 hours I can beat the game on master. I haven't even gotten the 100% on the arenas with over 100 hours played with a few gold stamps missing. That's impressive you did all this so quickly.

I’m a bit late to the party here, but for the 25 or under trophy, getting to The Sanctuary at 21 is effectively the same as getting there at 20 because of how the death counter works. If you only get one death in his first phase, you’ll still be able to take the same amount of deaths second phase to stay 25 or younger.
Wait. . .no way that I'm one out of only like. . .300 people now that have platnumed the game. Bro I litrerally LOVE sifu, I swear I barely played any other game for the last 3 years it's been out. Learning the avoid and parry timings takes understanding that you actually have MUCH longer than you think, and knowing one thing. Almost every single attack is a high, and I mean it. Almost all attacks thrown at you can be dodged by just spamming ducking punch. It's even easier to spam the crotch punch. Legit it'll get you through so much.

Saw the title on the video and am wondering if the platinum is the thing the title was talking about. If it is, and the 2.1% equals 170, that means i'm one of the 170! I did it on the highest difficulty back when it came out. Glad this game is getting love.
There's no platinum on Steam, so I have to get 100% or nothing. This guide will come in handy. At launch I did 100% the game, but then they added arenas.
Hey @JTPlays saying this is the first fighter/Beat em up you have played and finished 100% would you consider playing and finishing the yakuza games I and probly more would love to see that?
As my first run ever, which im currently doing, im doing an age 20, no focus run which ive been able to do pretty well, im doing both killing and sparing for bosses at the same time to get all achievments. Currently in the tower right now and hoping to get the plat. Cheers 🥂 and good luck to all who follow!
Once you learn the attack patterns, when to dodge and when to parry, this game becomes easy. Eveb on the hardest difficulties theres spots you can take advantage of in every enemy in every combo they do. If you are struggling i highly, HIGHLY suggest looking at the movesets and playing arenas, it will better you.
My hardest platinum at the time I type this is a three-way tie between Batman Arkham City, Dragon Ball Fighterz, and Sonic Superstars. My hardest 100% game is Batman Arkham Knight
I’m also one of the people that platinumed and 100% sifu. Took me about 90 hours, but easily the hardest challenege was getting 22,000 on “the club” area. It also a HUGE learning curve too, once you master the timing of parrys, everything becomes so clear

I didn't know they added difficulty ranks in the later updates. played this way before any DLCs even came out and holy, this game still traumatizes me when hearing the unblockable attack warnings. lol
I for the 240 stamps before the Last 2 Challenger those u struggled on and After half an Hour i gave it too Hard but congrats mate
Saw the title on the video and am wondering if the platinum is the thing the title was talking about. If it is, and the 2.1% equals 170, that means i'm one of the 170! I did it on the highest difficulty back when it came out. Glad this game is getting love.
Naaah it’s platinum + dlc
DLC is the hard part
@@afonsocoimbra5398yeah those arenas are no joke
9:41 bros just dying 😂
I'm one of the few with the platinum. Had no idea so few had it really.
There's no platinum on Steam, so I have to get 100% or nothing. This guide will come in handy.
At launch I did 100% the game, but then they added arenas.
I’m gonna become one of the few. Started it yesterday. Great game
Very fun platinum!
The car trophy is a street fighter reference where you get a bonus stage to destroy a car for points
Hey @JTPlays saying this is the first fighter/Beat em up you have played and finished 100% would you consider playing and finishing the yakuza games I and probly more would love to see that?
This game looks awesome. I might have to go out and play it.
Wasnt expecting to see myself at the end of the video
Raw dogging this game went straight to master
I platinumed this game it's one of my favorite games
As my first run ever, which im currently doing, im doing an age 20, no focus run which ive been able to do pretty well, im doing both killing and sparing for bosses at the same time to get all achievments. Currently in the tower right now and hoping to get the plat. Cheers 🥂 and good luck to all who follow!
BS! You can't even spare before the first run
Wuxing has a pronunciation closer to Wooshing
“Be like water my friend” - Bruce Lee
I plat this by accident I was showing my friend some combos in the art gallery and got the last achievement for using all moves
It took me less then 16 to get the good ending and platinum on Disciple
37:40 damn I just had deja vu
My hardest platinum at the time I type this is a three-way tie between Batman Arkham City, Dragon Ball Fighterz, and Sonic Superstars. My hardest 100% game is Batman Arkham Knight
Im glad i got this platinum it was fun
As someone that’s finished the platinum on normal here’s some advice:
Learn to spam parry against Shaun 😂
I got it for free. It was just a random PS+ buy. I now have a little over 200 hours in it 🤣
My hardest 100% was DMC5 on PS4 (before Vergil dlc). Aiming to get the Platinum/100% for PS5 now.
This was one of the easier plats I’ve done, struggling to believe only 170 people did it 😂
I’m also one of the people that platinumed and 100% sifu. Took me about 90 hours, but easily the hardest challenege was getting 22,000 on “the club” area. It also a HUGE learning curve too, once you master the timing of parrys, everything becomes so clear
