Actually, it looks like most Japanese people really love when foreigners wear kimono. That being the result of my hours of research on whether or not I can respectfully wear one

magnificent. I had only been browsing for a way to tie a men's kimono style robe (not authentic) and stumbled across this. I have now gained much respect for a woman that is wearing a kimono because of you. you have shown that it is an art.

So if I buy a kimono or haori on an antique market, is it okay if I wear it with jeans and or dress?
it is okay cuz nowadays there is so many style you can use with kimono and there is nothing wrong with it even japanese people style their kimono with skirt and they didn't use obi instead normal belt😉 you can check out Billy Matsunaga's youtube channel, she is a professional trained kimono stylist and teacher, and post many video about kimono
