That gear mechanism was insane! I’ve never been so nervous while finishing the model, wondering if I did it right because there was no way of knowing until then end… and the parts moved so subtly when activated… super impressed with the end result. My son went around for hours afterwards, taking pictures of unknowing family members and friends (who believed the camera was real from the functionaity of the design) making up stories of why their picture was changed into the “girl on vacation” or the Edwin Land shot. Bravo on function and playability!!
Brick building the stripe was such a great call 👏🏻
Love the details on this set. But the mechanism is so cool it steals the show. Seeing how seemingly complex mechanisms such as these are made is probably my favourite part of Lego
Omg this is a set that I own!
I got this set for my birthday since I love Polaroid cameras. I was blown away by how charming you and the team made this set. Thank you!
Hey James, will you cover Andrea’s theater school next? It’s one of my favorite Friends models!
i like this. seeing the behind the scenes of a lego set is really interesting.
Holy hell the vibes are so good here. I’m 10 seconds into the video I can’t believe how few views this has!!!!
Interesting videos! I would love for you to do Friends Andrea's Theatre school!!! And how interesting that you designed the foilpacks for magazines! Love to see someone day how that works!
Love the insight😎
Super awesome videos! As a LEGO employee it’s awesome to hear the stories from both sides!
Haha. While watching the video I took off the side panel of my set and now I need the instructions again to see where this wedge plate belongs that came off along with it! 🤣
Very interesting video once again 👏🏼
This is incredible to see the process that goes on to make these models! Thank you so much for sharing.
Great video! Well produced and very informative. (That sounds like a lame comment, and maybe it is, but it is honest!)
Any chance you will cover the Typewriter, particularly how the working typing mechanism came to be
Awesome BTS stuff
Loved the typewriter set.
I’m still debating on whether to do a video comparing your set to my Sears special replica (mostly due to time it would take to edit 😅) but, spoiler alert, I like your set a lot more. Something about it just feels right despite having to go with an even number of modules in width. Thanks for making a 5x5 cylinder in black btw 😎🤙
I'd love to learn more about 60395 Combo Race Pack. It's an underrated gem imo and reminds me a lot of LEGO Racers
