Nicki, I just have to say you are looking so fabulous!…I would love if you could give a little tutorial on your make up and your hair…. Especially your hair as I have slightly wavy hair and I straighten it and the condition of it is just terrible and trying to see if I can in some way ‘embrace’ the waves. If you have already done a tutorial in the last year or two could somebody link it as I have only started watching it around a year and a half ago. Thank you!❤❤

Nicki, you are the envy of all women who have to hire a handy man when we need something done. Every Sunday my neighbor (a very dear friend) and I have tea and watch your videos. She is married but her husband's tallents lie elsewhere. I just love all of the things Carlo can do. That bookcase looks like a tree with the plant you put at the top. I LOVE IT!!! Will he be making one of those floating beds like the one in Positano? He should patten that, I have never seen them. Thank you for sharing Tuscany with us. I love Positano but there is something about Tuscany that brings me to tears. I also like the region of Umbria but it does not make me cry like Tuscany. I have no idea why I get emotional. Carlo cracked me with his new tractor! Like a child at Xmas - his face said everything. Like your new writing desk & the second-hand shops are filled with lots of good stuff. The new shelves with the tree branch looks really good in the living area. Also, had a flashback with the yellow phone - my parents had one exactly like it in their bedroom. I always loved it. The neighbors provide plums for you to make jam. Carlo then mows his neighbors land. Sound fair to me! But the tree bookshelf was so creative and you made it look so easy! Carlo's face while sitting on the tractor was priceless. I bet he'd do the entire town's lawn if allowed! I wonder if he will add a seat behind him for the dogs. Thank you for sharing this with us; your videos always are cheerful.

I like it when people use imagination, creating practical solutions for home decoration. Using natural materials from nearby forests is also environmentally sustainable. The end result is absolutely beautiful. Well thought and done.
The purchasing of the tractor mower was so sensible. As it is very hot and dry in your region at the moment, it is of vital importance to keep the grass extremely short for reasons of fire prevention. Carlo, as always, did a great job. It was very wise of him to do neighbouring land as well! I hope that you have fire extinguishers in stock. Just in case. Your waterhose will only reach a certain distance, after all. It must be so nice and quiet to be in your place in Tuscany. No tourists where you live, no stairs, no problems with deliveries, less pollution, easy journeys to and from the shops/supermarkets/markets, and so on. Plus, I notice plenty of firewood to be collected from your land whenever you wish. An easier way to live. Carlo could do with a 'John Deer' tractor (to be found in different sizes) with attachment(s) for collecting the wood and for mowing larger areas. You might find a secondhand one in the UK or in Italy. Carlo will need one. When the previous owners collect the last of their stuff, Carlo might need to construct a barn to house and keep all his equipment safe and cool. You are achieving a lot in a very short time. Impressive. Well done! I wish you well.

You need a proper office chair Nicki, for working. It's so good to see Carlo so happy on his tractor and a much more sensible tool for mowing that large land you have in Tuscany. So nice to see you doing a wedding makeup job again Nicki. Sometimes it's nice to go back into the fold for a favour. I love the new bookshelves in the corner, it looks great.

I loved everything about this video. You are both so creative and skilled, there's nothing you can't do! On a different note, it was a pleasure to see you both barefoot so much of the time. Indoors, outdoors, on the tractor, doesn't matter. That's how I grew up and it wasn't because we didn't have shoes! We just preferred it that way. Now, science tells us that people don't get enough barefoot contact with the earth and that's the cause of some diseases! Something to with grounding ourselves and discharging static electricity.

When I saw Carlo’s tractor being delivered, I thought, she’ll never see him again, ha ha…then you said you are now a tractor widow…the desks are beautiful that you purchased, the one with the carved, curved legs is particularly beautiful, great choices. Book shelves are so unique, they turned out fantastically, good planning in advance. Everything you both have done thus far is really spectacular and coming together so nicely. Nicki, I totally understand your many reasons for moving on from doing makeup work. But when you said "who wants a 50 -year-old makeup artist?" Well, I can think of plenty of women over 40 who would be thrilled to have a mature makeup artist who didn't want to make them look like a kid...If you lived in a big city, where women in their thirties and up have makeup done for many special occasions, as well as work-related events and business, you'd have more clients than you can handle. But I love that you are giving yourself permission to focus on your writing and your online work. Can't wait to see what else you will be doing around the Tuscan home. Have to ask: Are you missing the swimming pool during the hot weather?

Nikki I am a long time canner. Here’s a tip for you. When you put the jars in the oven, place them on a cookie sheet. That way you can move them in & out of the oven easier and all at once!

I have been watching TH-cam videos about self-care ,for example, Diane in Denmark on some of her videos called weekly planning self-care she gives four self-care assignments/ideas that one can choose from for the week and in those videos she mentioned ideas like spending time in nature, creativity, new recipes, and listening to music. Also Mariane Cresp mentioned in her boost your mood video about creativity and music. So, I like that your videos show the simple joys of life! The music during the room tour creating a cozy vibe!

Love your videos! Hi from Texas. I worked for years in health clinics. I would kindly recommend that your precious husband wear eye protection, foot protection and ear protection. Yes it is cumbersome but my husband now automatically reaches for ear and eye protection and always wears work boots when using the tractor. It is always those freak incidents that change your life in an instant. As for the ears, please make sure the bone around your ear is covered too. Not just ear buds. It’s the high pitch noises and the deep rumble that eventually makes a person lose hearing. That’s when you start having to repeat yourself cause they can’t quite make out what you are saying. Blessings to you!
