I always thought that there was only 4 singles released off this album in the UK? Rock and Roll Star was never a Creation Record single release, think it may have had a Japanese issue available on Import? Whatever was released as a non-album track between Definitely, Maybe and (What's The Story?) Morning Glory... Was having a watch of this video as I've just found vinyl side C & D loose and have just found the original gatefold sleeve - in its place was the Champagne Supernova 12" Promo for some reason or another! The last Oasis album I bought on vinyl was Heathen Chemistry I don't possess any of the Gallagher's solo releases and really believe I was lucky enough to see them at The Army & Navy, Chelmsford - capacity of 350 -400? - a week or two after Shaker Maker and a year or so later at The Cambridge Corn Exchange a week before the release of Whatever! I had friends that got into them after Morning Glory exploded that went to Knobworth, Oasis came along at the right time and I often wonder what things would have been like if Kurt Cobain didn't do what he did? I admit to buying the triple CD reissues of the first 3 albums but I would not go as far as buying reissued vinyl, the original Creation issues were pretty heavy weight and I don't buy into the current trend for vinyl and feel ill when I find out people are playing records on Crap Record Players from HMV etc... I'm turning into a Grumpy Old Man...
I HIGHLY recommend the film supersonic it’s INCREDIBLE one of the best music documentaries I’ve ever seen! Also I’ve got this album but in the black vinyl signed by Alan McGee and it’s one of the best sounding vinyl albums I own by far
Stripey Rambles haha cheers it’s not your grey one unfortunately it’s standard black. Also if you’re interested I’ve got into a band I reckon you’d love they’re called car seat Headrest just got the album twin fantasy on vinyl it’s incredible! Don’t get me wrong they’re very depressing but I’d definitely recommend high to death, body’s, and sober to death from the album. Can’t forget it’s off teens of denial but another song by them they’re most popular is drunk drivers/killer whales (metaphor for careless teen the killer whales bit) and honestly Stripey sorry for the long message but this song is INCREDIBLE especially the last 3 minutes gets better and better as it goes on. Again obviously incredible lyrics by Will Toledo, and sorry for the annoying long message but they are definitely worth checking out!
Glad To See and hear your voice again Stripey!! Hope you will continue to get better. Hopefully you got a chance to preorder The Bruce Lee Criterion And I personally would love to see you do an unboxing for that. Take Care and look forward to whatever comes up next 👍👍
Hi mate, Glad to see you back. Was a little worried in these strange times. But good to see you back again doing a video. Hope you're feeling better now. Oasis - Definitely Maybe is a very good album. Together with Morning Glory, I bought these vinyl albums a few years back when I was in Liverpool. And in the meantime I bought all their albums on vinyl. Don't Believe The Thruth is the album that song The Importance Of Being Idle is on. And that album has the song Lyla as well. I think that's a great song. Enjoy the listens to your records, try to relax and hope you will find your sleeping like a rose again. Take care mate.
Hi Mate, thanks. I knew you were collecting Oasis records. It is Don't Believe The Truth with Idle on it (great track) DM is an amazing debut, Morning Glory next for me and possibly Be Here Now, we'll see! cheers Pe Ke
Good to hear youre getting some proper sleep Stripes. Theres nothing worse to melt your mind than lack of sleep! Good to see you back ramblin again friend. Take care Stripes.
Oasis are probably my 2nd favourite band after The Beatles. I'm not a fan of how they have changed the gatefold artwork on the modern pressings of the first 2 albums. It just doesn't look as good in my opinion. Im waiting for them to put it out with the original artwork before I pick it up on vinyl. Glad you like how it sounds. The Masterplan best of the Bsides album would be a good one to get next.
Hey mate glad to see you again.Ive got to get myself some OASIS vinyl .I saw them live back in 2003 i think it was when they came to Australia and they sounded fantastic . Take care mate.
Cheers Nazz, I never got see them live, but love some of their albums, Definitely, worth getting a few on record I reckon, DM sounded great! cheers pal

Good to see u back Stripey!. You should definitely get What's The Story Morning Glory next. Now that is a fantastic album. I think it's got Beatles written all over it!. What a first playthrough that would be!. Good to hear your ok now bud. Ur right it's been a very weird year so far, let's hope were through the worst of it!. Keep the vids coming to the followers mate!. There is no more of a powerful message than music😉
Good to have u back stripey. Hope the insomnia passes and ur feeling better soon. Great video as always. If ur gonna get another oasis album, obvs morning glory but give ‘The Masterplan’ a try. All the B sides that should have been the 3rd album IMO. Great live version of ‘i am the walrus’ 👍
Good video mate, I love Oasis. Your editing is getting better and better really professional. Bar Dig Out Your Soul I've got all of the Oasis albums plus Liam and Noel solo stuff on Vinyl.
Never apologize for the lack of videos Stripey. It's all been crazy for everyone else. I love Oasis as you know lol. Morning Glory is my favourite Oasis album but this is a classic too. Btw I did some reviews on albums with some audio commentary and it was very inspired to what you love to do with your videos. It was like my dedication to you lol Hope you're well and the family too.
Thanks Stripes. It's an honour you decide to see any video of mine like the others you watch because I know who you are as a person virtually, as a content creator and also I like your passion for music.
I've only discovered your channel a month ago but your videos are a real treat. Love hearing your music opinions and passion for records, because you come across as a genuine bloke. Do tell us about the Rotel however brief and I wish you well! Gerard
Not to be a pernickety prick love the video and the album but I just wanted to correct you on you referred to the first song on side 4 as Digsy’s diner but it is in fact Digsy’s dinner a different meaning that makes much more sense it was in fact written after friend of the band known as Digsy told them he was having lasagne for his tea love the vid stripey keep up the good work mad fer it.
Hi mate , hope you are now ok Victoria here in Aust has now gone back into second lockdown and hence here in NSW our borders have had to be closed, not good.Bit annoyed Disney in their "WISDOM" decided to postpone the Beatles/Peter Jackson "Get Back" film til next August 2021.Wish Disney had nothing to do with this film , Your thoughts?
Hi Mate, I feel the same way about Disney, I get that with the virus the film industry juggled release dates, but next year...completely missing the anniversary of Let It Be. I hope you guys stay safe Down Under mate, take care pal.
Great stuff Stripey. Out of interest, have you got any gatefold pvc plastic sleeves for you (gatefold) vinyl? I recently got some and they’re brilliant as you don’t have to take me the item out of the plastic sleeve once you’ve put it on.
Good to see you're okay mate was gtting worried about ya. I used to comment alot more. Probably why you dont recognise me. Also the name change from that guy off the interwebs to just webz
I must have missed this vid last month, yeah great LP, the only one I have on vinyl is the B side collection the master plan, its great, but I want this and morning glory.
For something different for oasis you should listen to "standing on the shoulder of giants". Different sound to the band, a bit psychedelic and underrated album in my opinion
Quite surprising that that's the only Oasis LP you have 🤓 You should get the vinyl box set www.discogs.com/Oasis-Untitled/release/1866555 Nice shirt BTW mate ✌🏻
