Very helpful guide. New to flicker strike and it's a lot of fun. Leveled as a 2nd character and I agree that would be very difficult to leaguestart with this. It did not really feel pleasant until after the splash and +1 non-vaal mastery.
Purely an FYI to those looking: Midgame version is up over 20 div and potentially much higher if you have bad luck crafting items (usually cheaper to craft than buy). This isn't good or bad, just a rough estimate of a build.

Interesting - Ages ago (I think in the 2.x days) I tried out Flicker for the first time and fell in love with it - modern versions were always way too squishy for me. Got my LS Slayer preetty much finished (other than Nimis) and I've been thinking of going some CI EE Trickster build as my big boy build for this league.. this seems perfect :D

Hey, just wanted to let you know that the action speed implicit on the boots doesn't really do anything. One Step Ahead effectively sets your base action speed to 108%, so anything less than 8% action speed on gear won't do anything. Really excited for this build though! I'm slowly piecing together the gear to run it, thanks for all the work you put into making it! I'm wondering about a few potential changes, namely looking for rage gain on hit with the Lethal Pride to save 2 points, and maybe skipping some of the ES nodes at the start of the tree to get more jewel sockets
We're not getting One Step Ahead tho, so it affects you :) Yeah, rage on hit on LP is something im looking for too, but there's literally only one that has overall good DD chance and rage on hit, so I won't recommend it for the general playerbase. The left small node and rage on getting hit + mastery for polymath is what makes the wheel actually pretty good tho.
@@Tarekis-official omg i legit just looked at my leveling build and saw one step and forgot lol I was considering going for rage on hit without worrying about the 10-15% chance for double damage and saving a few passive points earlier in the tree to try to fit in a second curse or something. kinda depends what seed of lethal pride i'm able to buy
@@carboniris yeah, if you level with something else, still do the ascendancy for this one ;) Double damage chance is pretty OP yeah, got a premade search for DDs, if you wanna drop the rage wheel for just the rage on hit, probably get the rage on LP and do something else on tree.

Not really no, your frenzy sustain without awakened multistrike isn't 100%, you don't lose any, but if you start with 1 frenzy without hitting Frenzy of Onslaught it will feel bad
Will do higher versions when I get there, I don't have an enormous amount of time to pour into PoE so it'll take me a bit to get to the higher tiers, no gremlin mode for me lol Budget version showcase is up tho

Yeah exactly by those. You also have Frenzy of Onslaught for when you get unlucky on the chance to get frenzy charges, so you aren't stuck and you can start on bosses with high frenzy charges
HI, I dont understand how youre maxing out your block chance without glancing blows? When you put that 6% jwel for example u go from 47% to 65% spell block , how?

APS is attacks per seconds, as in attack speed Rage is generated by the small node left to Versatile Comatant or from a Node in the range of Lethal Pride (on some variants)

You can rather easily substitute Lightning strike for this specific fight. Will get lower baseline damage, yes, absolutely, but ee should still carry you through the fight.
@@nextgen3ric ended up swapping to frenzy of onslaught + respecced some DMG points to get as much max recovery from leech as possible and I was able to do it. Thanks though!

Hi, i have a doubt: If im not generating enough frenzy charges (i have fs @23%) where else i can get frenzy charges on hit? Or i have to first hit the mobs with frenzy and then start flickering?.
I know you mentioned it in your video as I’ve watch the whole thing multiple times but I’m very new to the game. My biggest struggle is I run out of fury more often than not. I find myself standing still hitting the skill like the village idiot lol. I’m still low level (50) and a Trickster. Can anyone give me just a simple, short but clear summary on how to gain fury? I see how it can be extended and gain more charges but I have a problem getting the initial charges and maintaining them. Thanks in advance.

@@judgementlaw7881 Haven‘t heard good things about that tech, but didn‘t bother to investigate, I personally don‘t like minions, but if you have an additional aura you can apply on yourself trough whatever means, it‘s defentively Haste
@@judgementlaw7881 Can't be bothered to add defensive skills cooldowns you actively have to press, I want to keep rightclicking and press cooldowns for DPS. But Vaal Molten Shell is useful if you can be bothered, and if DM works out for you, go Haste, we have the slots for it open!

I was able to run a phys reflect map. I swapped minor pantheon to 50% less reflect but I'm not sure it was even necessary with the es leech this build has.

I don't wanna recommend any currency making strat, I just run what's fun to me and juice it reasonably well, that doesn't mean I always run very efficent or profitable strats. For the last 10 leagues or so I'm running harvest invitation rotas, doing this again, so Guardian/Conqueror Maps, 8mod corrupted with harvest scarabs and corrupted 8mod map drops. Also doing a bit of Ultimatum on top because it seems fun rn, probably not worth it currency-wise. @@SeanMasters I‘m not, it‘s capped at the actualy rage max, it only changes if you change your rage max, it doesn‘t affect DPS

Nope, that's reduced effect, not avoid chance

You usually only need this on bosses. Frenzy generation is explained in the guide and video, 3 total sources.

If you mean frenzy, you're too early with level 50, you have to wait to play flicker until you have all the requirements I mentioned in the notes.

Brine King prevents stunlock. Just maybe are you running Simulacrum? And are you getting the slow debuffs layered? Because those will immobilize you

how do you get the aoe damage on flicker strike? mine only hits one guy at a time and takes ages to clear

Any tips on getting aps higher ? i was thinking of droping discipline for haste but the block watchers eye with it would also be nice

No need for physical conversion, it's so minimal it makes almost no difference

Yes you can, the archetype works for that, but you're probably overinvested into frenzy if you switch to DS
