Choosing Tyres for my BMW X5 E70

It's that time again when we need some new tyres, but what options are available for a staggered wheel setup BMW X5 E70?

Currently looking at the same set up for my f15. What mileage did you get out of these?

I've done about 10k miles in a year and they're wearing nice and evenly with about 5mm left all round. Really happy with the Dunlops so far. For me, better all rounder than the Bridgestones they replaced. All the best 👍

So for Staggered set up, do NEED to be same tread? Or can I miss match, will it cause any issues?

Just checked my BMW manual and it says same tread pattern for all tyres to 'maintain the cars good road behaviour'. I usually go on the same per axle rule. Sounds like the worst case might be a difference in handling?

Haha, it's always the way. Tbh I'm sure it would be fine. I had a mix of Bridgestone and Dunlop's for over a year and it was fine. All the best 👍
