disclaimer Methods that are shown works great for me and they are not only methods out there, if you find this or any other method not comfortble, please use some other way.
Thank you and enjoy
I really enjoy your instructional videos, as a beginning wood turner you are a valuable resource. I really appreciate your down to earth way of talking to your audience. No pretense there!
Thank you very much, I really appriciate that ☺️
I like the foot detail, I think it dresses it up just enough. Perfection comes from the details. Great job.
Great wee project for practicing with the skew. Thanks for posting.
Nice little project. FWIW, I like the little foot, but it's all a matter of taste! Let me ask, are soft-boiled eggs popular in Croatia? Here in the US, I don't think people eat them much, anymore.
Thank you very much 🤗
They were popular before, when I guess people had time to cook😅
No so much now but hotel as such places still serves them on buffet
Nice work Tomislav.
Speaking of profit, how much would you charge for something like that?
Thank you buddy, well these stuff you do in batches so the price has to be low, around 5-8 euro, now maybe a bit more practical would be just the cups without cracked effect...and faster to make😅
The cracked edge give it a unique character. But sorry, I won't be making them as I made 'Richards' Baron egg cups a few moths ago.
That's ok👍😀
"Making money" and "Woodturning" should never be used in the same sentence. Ha
Don't follow but they can be in same sentence... Although there is that saying that if you want to make a milion turning , you should start with two but there is a way.
Just involves a lot of time and branching out
Nice egg cup! Do you ever convert your jamb chuck into a wooden egg and sell them as a combo?
Nope, as I would try to cut blanks that way so I have minimum waste. But its great idea🤗
Nice project Tomislav! Your skill with a skew chisel, was as always, very impressive 🤠🇨🇱
Thank you Randy, appriciate that ☺️
I like the foot, but would look good without it too.
You humbly describe your process /processes for creating a "fine art object". Do not ever sell yourself short! Never!
Next time making an egg cupp consider also using a dremil for even more organic sensual shapes.
Thanks for the inspiration
I actually like the little foot. Great skew work.
🕶thanks Tomislav
Great little project. Thank you for all the tips and tricks too. Excellent skew control too. Something I am still working on. Thank you!
Thank you Johnny ☺️ appriciate your support
Very nice
Another great instructional video. I remember eating soft boiled eggs before school during the winter.
Nicely done tomislav great little project 👍 😀
Thanks Will
Very nice.
It is different with a bit of humour.
I quite like the tiny foot detail.
Like it with the foot. Sans the foot it'd be a cracked egg shot glass. 😏
Good turn, great presentation and special thanks for sharing.
Nice egg cup. Not really a production project and in my market an egg cup would never sell.
Very nice egg cup Tomislav. I like the foot on it.
Love your videos and have learned a lot from you. Thanks for all you put into them. (Slightly intimidated that you reckon this level of skew work is a 'beginners project' tho!!).
Thanks buddy 🤗 other tools can do the same task☺️
Thanks for sharing more of your talent. I watch yours and Richard’s videos and find them very informative and helpful. Thanks for sharing.
Really glad to hear that and thank you very much 🤗
Another eggcellent video!😁
😂😂 love it 👍 thank you for watching
A nice little project. If I was actually able, I might make one slightly lower, it somehow looks wobbly to me. even if it isn't. The edge looks cool. Did you say what wood it is and I missed it? Thanks for another interesting and entertaining video.
Its ash, I think I haven't mention it😅
I agree , a bit lower would be better 👍
Neat project. Another one to go on an increasingly long list of things to make. Your recent series really has some great skew skill building projects.
Thank you, it does have ,its a good opportunity to practice ☺️
Tomislav bonjour. J'adore le coquetier, il ressemble au chapeau de Caliméro ,mis à l'envers. 👍Super et merci pour les explications ,toujours bien utile
Thank you ☺️glad you liked it
I like the foot, definitely going to try this one.
I also like the foot detail. A very nice little project - thank you for sharing Tomislav.
Great project. I like the foot.
Great little project
Thanks for sharing. Always a joy.❤
