2024 TOPPS CHROME UFC is finally here and I’ve got a hobby box to rip! Let’s take a first look at the first Topps UFC product since 2020.

Been collecting awhile, glad topps is back they look great, not huge into all the non numbered colors but still fun.

Good box Joe, you got multiple good inserts and some solid auto's and numbered! The Kings and Queens is sick, would look so good in a red PSA slab cant wait to see that one get graded and come back.
My one critique for Topps would be to cut the insert list in half. Once we get the other insert designs from the mega and blaster its going to be a ton of designs.

I just started collecting, glad you mentioned the buyback program. I never heard of that before and that sounds great.
Also I have one of the black /10 lopez. Goodluck on one of the other 9! It is a great looking card.

Jubli is definitely a rookie, he was the #1 prospect coming out of India, in his UFC debut he fought Mike Breeden and was winning 2 rounds until Breeden started Barking at him and psyched him out and KOd him in the 3rd round. Jubli is very good but Gassed in the 3rd and crumbled But hopefully will be back and better this year! Also great video and pulls bro!🔥🔥🔥🔥

Hey Matty. There was a couple off center cards but surface was good for the most part. I was pretty happy quality. Seems better than Panini in my opinion.
They got my boy max Holloway to sign again, he hasn't signed since 2021 so that's very exciting 💪

Awesome rip, thanks for sharing! Agreed about the photos, there’s some top notch ones. Also my favorite inserts are the Kings & Queens. Tbh though they might be the only inserts that I am a fan of here. Very excited about Robert Whittaker autos. I might try to snag one for the pc

Thanks Albino! I’m with you on the inserts. There’s so many of them, but I don’t really like any of them. I didn’t realize Whitaker has never signed before. That’s awesome that they were able to get him to sign.
I havent been really active on the card game recently. I still dont know how much saturated the topps release is but virtually/design-wise, the cards looks nice imo.

I pulled a blue refractor auto /150 of jamahal hill and a black refractor /10 anderson silva and main event glover teixeira auto really enjoying the product so far and congrats on the pulls!!!

I got a Chuck Lindell auto hall of fame and lyoto machida auto /150. So disappointing. Non stamped rookies (like the anshul jubli you pulled) and off centered cards. I wanted at least one current fighter as an auto. Got a Shara bullet rookie /99 which wasn’t a bad pull tho. Wish they would try harder on these products
Did you get a lot of off-center cards Jeremy? I think most of mine were pretty centered. I’m definitely bummed about the non-labeled rookies. I’m hoping Topps gets better with every release. 🤞 Congrats on the Shara rookie. That’s one of the better cards you can get in this product.
@@JoesCardStache there were just a few cards that seemed kind of off centered nothing major but luckily not the Shara bullet one but idk I’m just shitting on topps for not trying harder 😂 non stamped rookies is completely unacceptable imo. Especially for the price tag
anshul came out of india and is a big fighter that region roots for, because of his heritage. he was undefeated and whoopin some in his last fight, but then the other dude turned it up in the last round and knocked him out lol
sad about gilbert too, but also a jdm fan!
i usually have an obligatory "root for gilbert" clause since the noble gobles like him so much
i think your case hit was the kings & queens insert, because i see that one listed as such on ebay, though idk about the raul card 🤔

I think the Kings and Queens insert is fairy common, more frequent than a case hit anyway Ive seen it in 3 video openings so far.

Yeah. I’m definitely noticing a lot of them on EBay. It’s would be a sick set to collect. I image prices will come down as more of them get listed.

@JoesCardStache bud, I got messed up with these bad.
I order a hobby for 285 and 3 weeks later ordered 2 blasters from same place. I was charged 35 shipping on both orders and he sent them together, then they came and they wouldn't deliver because they wanted 130$ more for duty so I still have to pick them up today.
So the hobby and 2 blaster with tax cost me around 650$........ not happy!
I better pull 3 1/1s.

Great video. The Topps buyback program is for the regular set card and its parallels. Unfortunately inserts are not a part of the buyback.

That’s what’s great about these cards. It makes me pay attention to fighters I wouldn’t have know about. I gotta check that dude out.

Decent box Joe! I do agree most of the photos they chose are great especially for the horizontal cards. What's your fav & least fav insert (out of the 2389472 insert sets)?
Thanks man. Hmmmm. Favorite is still Kings & Queens. Although hidden gems look pretty dope too. Least favorite has to be Tale of the tape (or if you’re including Megas then it’s the “Brick by brick” insert. Those are just terrible. I’m not sure what they were thinking with allllllll these inserts

Is the generation now insert SSP ?
They are short printed but not super. One in every four boxes I believe. Box Alarm Trading has a great video about the rarity of all the inserts. You should check it out.
Topps nail the photography and quality of card. Panini nail the designs/insert aesthetics

My only gripe so far is the centering on some of topps.
I could be wrong but I don't think that Jamahal Hill will be eligible for the buyback program. Assuming it's the same as the Topps Chrome Baseball Buyback program, it will only be their base cards & the parallels of the base cards, no inserts are eligible.

@JoesCardStache You're welcome brother! Like I said, it could be different for this UFC buyback so I'd hold onto the insert just in case, but with the annual Topps Chrome Baseball buyback program it's always just the base cards & parallels of said base cards
After ripping my box I can honestly say I'm not opening anymore 2024 UFC Topps Hobby 😂

Not a fan of all the horizontal base cards & this rookie class is absolutely garbage, but I've had good luck so far myself lol

Just because it's someone's 1st card doesn't mean it "should be a rookie" btw. I get why you'd think that because I used to as well, but the rookie designation is based upon when they started fighting & how many fights rather than whether or not they've had any cards printed.

It might be a little overpriced but the cards are selling well. Hopefully Topps can promote the cards so people start to know about them.
