You're welcome... When we go to the bridges (channel 2,5 or long key) we always put our chum on the pilings. Trust and believe that the current will still bring it (chum) out. People make the mistake and cast far away from their chum which makes no sense. Just my two cents @@305FloridaBoyFishing
@@bamfkn_fd thanks again brother! I appreciate all the tips because they make me better at fishing. One of my favorite parts of this TH-cam thing is the comments because I love the engagement and learning. I’ve been after the keeper since I started this channel 9 months ago! I’ll get em,it’s just a matter of time, lol
I have had the most success catching KEEPER Muttons using a long leader (20lb-30lb Flouro) with using half a ballyhoo. Hook through the tail and back bone. Hooking that way you keep the bait on the hook while smaller fish nibble. Once the bigger one sees that the bait is safe and swoop in for the kill... boom keeper mutton baby!!!@@305FloridaBoyFishing
Never seen the water that murky at channel 2. Even with the tide change, the wind will keep the water moving in the same direction. Make no mistake, channel 2 is an excellent spot with better conditions.
Thanks brother. Yea that chum did not last at all. I’m definitely going back to channel 2 when there is better conditions. Looking forward to it. Thanks for watching and commenting.
That's my boy! We have been fishing since kids. Take notes 🎣🐟🐠🦈
My boy! 💪🏽
On days the current is ripping like that, drop the chum on the piling and fish the piling.
Thank you brother! I’ll definitely try that because my chum did not last very long.

Also, keep the chum tight against the piling to prevent washout.

I think that current was ripping too hard. U gotta wait for the tide to start slowing down sometimes.
Way too hard. My chum bag lasted like 25 minutes. Lesson learned!
Or drive down south past the 7 mile to shallow water where it’s more calm.
Googan 😂🤦🏾♂️
