  • Former Tory MP Graham Brady was the 1922 committee's leader for 14 years.
He had the task of receiving letters of no confidence, and informing the Prime Minister if their backbenchers were about to revolt.

@@abersan6520 I agree, there are many notable exceptions such as Rory Stewart, but they dont get to positions like the 1922 position like this scum and dont try to revise history, insinuating May was a naive idiot to realize they couldnt get a better Brexit deal, like this scum is doing.
You are naive to think a few soft words humanizes him vs his actual record.

Guy needs to inform the Finns of the important yardstick utility of private schools I’m sure they’d be interested to hear the nonsense from a country more than 20 places behind in OECD education attainment rankings. That charity line is such utter BS.
Is the number of people in poverty after a Tory government and wealth inequality a sign of class war?

Liam Tuffs had a great interview with an undertaker recently who talks about Brady and the 1922 commission. Worth a watch whilst it's still on the tube. I can imagine it will get pulled soon. One of many who sold us out. How these people sleep at night is beyond me.

He's trying to re-write history. In 2010 there was a financial crisis, now there isn't, but now the debt is far higher both in terms of percentage of GDP and in monetary terms. Perhaps he is comfortable where all the money "disappeared" to.

I suspect you agreed to this being quite casual.
But I do rather wish you had taken perhaps one or two opportunities to question his parties record.
At 20:30 you pivot from him saying public sector workers are receiving above inflation pay rises, to Rosie Duffield, i do however feel we would’ve been served better by one or two questions/stamens from you framing them s pay restoration after a long term pay cut under his administration, that needed to be rectified. And or taking the advice of the ‘independent’ pay review boards.

There are reasonable arguments in favour of allowing private schools to retain charitable status. However, the claim that their presence is needed to create a benchmark for state schools is a farce. How can someone that otherwise seems like a careful thinker make such a ridiculous claim?
