I have a Slazenger Bulls Eye from the 60-th with original leather handle. When I start to miss with my mallet putter, I go back to the Bulls Eye. That one tells me what I am doing wrong. No forgiveness at all. And the Bulls Eye is so cool.
Love the ping zing it’s def my favourite putter ever ! I’ve tried the 2 ball and the Marxman but I struggle from long distance with them. The zing is back in the bag recently and will be staying there for good
Your channel has led me to an Anser2, a Zing2, and an older 2ball. Also lucked into a Pal2 while hunting for some older stuff. My Zing2 is a beryllium nickel, and I love it!
I cut about 1.5 or 2 inches off a Ping Zing that I found in my Mom's garage in Tucson, AZ. Then, I added some lead tape to the cavity, and put an #2 oversize Golf Pride pistol grip on it. (Maybe it was actually a ping "pal"). I putted pretty good with it. I ended up trading it in here in Iowa at a local golf shop. I got a nice 3 metal and $50 off for the putter.
Putters are a matter of personal taste. Sort of like music. There is no "one size fits all". But I love looking at putters. Trying them. And I like to see what others use. Thanks for the video.

Bullseye, Wilson AP , Wilson 8802, Pings galore, Odyssey and Scotty Cameron.. problem is I seem to never part with them.. but I can remember my first one that started it all and that was a Bullseye putter with a blue leather grip and was only $15 brand new. But if I had to chose one above all it would be the Wilson designed by Arnold Palmer. I may not be able to putt my best with it but it is my favorite putter of all the ones I have..
I just got a odyssey rossie haven’t tried it yet but I’ve always liked a vintage looking bladed putter like the Augusta and going from feel instead of all the tech but I’ll listen to the expert
I know this video is 2 years old but... my gamer for years was a TaylorMade nubbins mallet. Just couldn’t miss. A couple years ago I got a used Ping anser 3 , put on a super stroke 2.0 grip on it. Now it’s my magic wand if you will.
You should get an OG Myday or 2. I just bought my second. I've got an OG Zing also with a Even Roll red grip, bought on your recommendation. Perfect. Cheers
I dumped my odyssey two ball mallet last year and replaced it with my Acushnet Bullesye putter that I’ve had since the early 80s. I sometimes play an old Tommy Armour silver scot. Both putters have helped me improve my putting game. But after watching this video, I’m going to seek out a Ping Anser or Zing.
Ping Anser 2 in copper Becu my goto Alternate between ping zing 2 ss and a Ben sayers Justin special 088 brass putter (which is a original Anser clone)
My favourite would be any Anser style putter but the favourite one would be Scottdale Anser (one with Big Ping logo on the back not the original Scottdale address) BeCu version. But I do sometime play with other Anser made by other brands as well.
I use a Boccieri “mid weight” K4 putter that is a very similar style to the Ping Zing but considerably heavier. I’ve had for a couple of years now and love it. The Zing just seems to suit my style after going through a ton of putters over the years. There is a video with John Daly endorsing it.
U decides what my favorite putter is?.....I have liked my Odyssey White Hot Pro #7?...w a SuperStroke Fatso 5.0for several years...then picked up older Odyssey White Steel #2 that I reconditioned and regripped w a SuperStroke Mid Slim 2.0, still getting used to it....then I found this ancient beat up TFI-2 brass cavity back putter..that I had fully restored...looks gorgeous now...it feels great but currently up for sale, if it does not sell will game it for 2 months, it may be a keeper, ...looking local for older Ping Anser or Cleveland milled face putter .

Just set up my Ping Zing with a brand new superstroke just like this. couple rounds of brasso and i have a brand new putter.
I still have, and use my beryllium copper ping B60. Nothing betters it

Bought a Ping Zing used off a buddy 25 years ago. I probably play it 90% of the time. You are absolutely correct...great feel on long putts.
Ping O-Blade from 1977 is the one I always go back to...loved the standard napa styles too but OBlade is still my #1! Bulls eyes also high on my list!

My favorite putters of all time would be the two I currently own, the Ping Anser 2 and the Odyssey white hot 2 ball.
I restored an old Ping My Day with the super stroke 2.0. Hands down the most accurate putter I’ve used.
