my perspective on art and my confidence in my creativity has been so inspired by you this past year. thank you for taking all the time you do to share your skills! much love.
Ten Hun the type of guy I thumbs up before the video even starts! Thanks for sharing all your knowledge bro!
Very interesting. I learned something for sure. Very cool ten hundo
Thanks dude!
So glad to find someone I honestly feel connected too as an artist and as a friend (even though we've never met). I can not explain how much watching you work and create inspires me to keep drawing even though times get hard. Thanks for the awesome things you do, it really does help people like me.
Thank you for sharing so much information! I know a fair amount of artist with your skill level are more reserved with sharing their knowledge, but thanks to your willingness to share I learned a lot. I think a lot of us would be interested in a 3 hour video about shading, so if you're up for it I think we'd all love it!
I enjoy your energy and love watching your videos!
Please do more, From a person who has no money to get any art lesson you helped me a lot. Maybe even gave me my source of living. If only I can upgrade my potato computer to handle photoshop better. Thanks a lot, man! You are a life saver.
Dude. Exactly what I needed ..and I would've loved to sit through a 3 hour tutorial.
More like this, please!
I would gladly watch streams that show this quality and talent
I’ll try to keep the tutorials coming between my other art vids... I try to drop little tips and tricks in my other vids too so all us artists can learn together
@@TenHundred That is why you are a hero among other artists who hoard their techniques with fear of being made irrelevant. You just work harder than 95 percent of other people so you dont have to worry about anyone stealing your jerb.
Thanks!
By far the best tutorial I've ever came across. Super easy and simple if you pay attention. The way you explain it is better than any other in my opinion. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, can't thank you enough on how much this video has helped me!
Jacob Garza awesome! Glad you liked it and hopefully learned something :)
Thanks for being direct and precise! Dont stop these type of tutorials.. thanks!
You may not see this this as it's an old upload but this was a great walk through, your art is a reflection of you and might I say it is worth reflecting. Kudos and thank you for sharing.
Definitely, the video that gonna change my whole view on digital art. this guy's style is fresh! thnx for the long tutorial, I'm a big fan of those. keep going, dude!
I've been mainlining your videos for the last week. I adore your approachability and manner. Thank you so much for putting these out brother. Your style is phenomenal.
Hey Brotha! Thank you very much for all these videos, really gives back to the art community!
This is lowkey the BEST tutorial on youtube! I haven't even watched the entire video yet, but I am very impressed already.
This is the best tutorial I have ever watched on creating flats. I will make this video a must for my illustration students. Thank you!
I personally don't like this method. I just fill in the colors directly, then I layer multiple versions of the image over another (darker, brighter, different colors) and then I just brush in what I need. It's of course more for digitally printed designs, but It's really fun to do.
@@UnBknT tutorial available?
many thanks you have given me much clarity, currently going thru some client drama regarding a mural project which has taken a month of negotians, changes, ugh. But thanks you watching your videos I have been given a whole new perspective, and I copped 2 T-shirts from your website too!!
by far best artist on TH-cam
I disagree ;) but that is very nice of you to say
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I have had an art tablet for a while, but Photoshop (with no formal training and discouraging attempts) seemed so far out of reach for me. I watched other videos, but still struggled. The first time I watched yours, however, I felt so inspired and encouraged. I knew I could do it this time and I did!! It wasn't perfect, but I love the outcome of my first digital artwork!
This awesome. This is what I really need right now. More of this tutorials Please. I am an aspiring artist and I've learn so much from this. Love lots.
The watercolor layers at the end!! 👌👌👌
thank you so much! I've always wondered about how to do this. It's similar to how I work in watercolors, adding layers upon layers. Again, thanks!
by far the best tutorials for digital coloring !
Wow! I had an epiphany. The evolution of this digital tool. Magic stuff. Creating your piece and all the steps reminded me of silk screening but with lots and lots more screens and a chance to hit command z. Thanks for all the technical info - overwhelmed, in a good way.
I used this tutorial step by step to make my first digital drawing. Wish I could attach it to this comment to share with you but I'm STOKED on the result!! Thanks so much for this!!!
I love how willing you are to share your gift. I wish you would do a video about highlight/shadow with acrylics. I would find it so helpful bc I struggle so much.
Fan from Bangladesh who recently discovered your art. I love doing art in my pass time and stumbling across your colouring and lines tutorials were very helpful as I don't have a drawing tablet. Also got your colouring books and am having a blast with them. Thanks for all the good work and the wonderful art you make!!
Now we wantt a newww coloring tutoriall since you have changed and improved over the year!
we love long tutorials from you! very informative. I am so happy for you that you've gained a 100k! You had my support since you've had 20k and will have my support until I'm here
for real!
I feel like i learned more from here than college 🤣 thank you for refreshing my memory about photoshop and adding more info 😍
Great instructional video--thanks for the shortcuts outlined on the screen as you're doing them. Great technique and easy to apply. Much appreciated!
Did you know that if you choose the freehand lasso tool and hold Option (Mac) you can switch back and forth between freehand and polygon lasso as you're drawing your selection? That's the coolest thing I've learned about doing selections. :)
One of the clearest and useful tutorials I’ve ever come across in all the years I’ve been drawing! Would have loved to have stumbled upon this video before I purchased an iPad Pro and procreate, still, no regrets, I love it! It’s always good to keep learning, and this might hit differently if I decide to go back to traditional and throw up a photo? Sweet 🤙🏼
Awesome tutorial, thanks very much @TenHundred! 👍🎨😻
THIS TRICK IS AWESOME! Just finished a Llama in my own style and I've always wanted to work from transparent rather than white! Epic man! I only found you last week and I've now watched most your videos. You've been a true inspiration to me, you're everything I want to be as an artist! Keep up with the great content and art! Another commission video will be awesome! :)
to be honest i would be totally down to see a 3 hour video
i love to see you work, you explain very well and have the patience to describe and tell us all about it, i wish i had at least half of your talent
keep up the amazing work, very dope art
A 3h long video with u talking about your art and how u do it? I would be totally in!
This was such a dope tutorial 👍 learned a lot from this actually which gives me an idea for what I want to do next. Your channel is awesome!!!
I would sit for a 4 hours video, your videos are surely worth it, thank you so much
This has been the coolest and most informative tutorial about coloring and shading in PS. Its the first vídeo I've seem from you but Im gonna check them all now!
Rodrigo Guimarães that’s awesome! I’m glad you enjoyed it!!
I've been in love with illustration and graphics design for a while... Its Hard to start. Currently trying to figure out how to do my emotes for twitch (one of my hobbies is to stream games).
Rodrigo Guimarães I wish I knew a bit more about twitch
We talk about it! Let me find your facebook page so it's easier!
Great tutorial! Your coloring style is very unique and it's cool to see how you achieve it. Keep up the great work!
This was sooo helpful!! Thanks a lot! You make my life so easy! Many blessings! Love your work!
water color effect technique really nice. thanks for tutorial
Thank you so much for this video!! I have been recently dipping my toe into the digital art realm but photoshop seemed so complex that I was freaking out. Your tutorial was very easy to follow and has given me a great place to start.
I loved this video! I learned a lot today, thanks so much!
Great man... I was really looking for something like this to get started with digital art... Thank you so much 💝
thank you so much dude! can´t explain how frustraiting photoshop has always been for me. I understood finally the process and the why you click what you click hahaha amazing teacher!
Thank you for this calm and educational tutorial. I always wanted to know how you got these beautiful gradients of colors into your work- interesting to learn how you do an overall shading from each side, one warm, one cool. Loved learning about the 'action' function as well.
Thank you very much sharing this video. One of the best !
Thanks for both these videos! Dope drawing and really informational!
I had fun watching this tutorial! The way you present it lol hahaha. Thank youu
If you hold alt and click in between a layer you'll make a clipping layer and the top layer will only paint on the where the bottom layer is. So if you break up sections to layers then you won't have to lasso out your changes and speed up your time.
Amazing tricks! Thanks for sharing!
Omg thank you! I spent days on skillshare, still haven't scratched the surface compared to the amount of info you put in.
Really well put together too.
P.S, ain't hating on Skillshare, just that all the classes I've taken so far taught me too little. Probably just coz I didnt find the best course for me.
P.S.S Thanks for the brilliant video!
Massive thanks for doing a run down of your workflow, it was super inspiring and well helpfull dude. Big up
thanks for this follow up video . loved the first one . Bro Thanks !
this was so helpful. learned a lot. must watch again following this. thank u so much. and ur art is beautiful.
You're a good teacher! Thanks a lot, this is really helpful.
this is very informative, thank you, I'll definitively up my game now!
also, love that Lorem Ipsum shirt, i want one
I really like the way you work up on this, i was learning to do this in AI, but i'm not used to it, so seeing you doing these in PS seems way easier as i can easily understand everything you're doing, nice work dude!
I was just using your seperate line art from the background last night! You do great tutorials dude
plaguespeak awesome! Thank you
Great tuto. Can't be too long or too detailed for me. Awesome . 👍💖
love how you share the short cut keys
So glad you re-made this video. Thank you!
Taylor Russ you’re very welcome. Hope You learned something 😎
So interesting and informative! So MUCH better than my college sessions 🙏👍
Quick question because I think I’m missing something. Whenever I get to using the magic wand tool after separating the line art, it selects the entire picture😫 and then the fill is everywhere. What am I missing so that the fill can be on the inside only?
Wow it’s insane that you made this two years ago and said “nobody’s ever done that before” talking about your affiliate links, and two years later you’re at almost 400k subs
A process. Definitely!
Thank you so much bro for this video. I always used to illustrate on illustrator but I feel this is much better. Cheers from India.
anish hirlekar illustrator is a really dope program. You can increase /scale your artwork to the largest extreme without losing quality.. Something not many apps can do without ruining your work depending what it's going to be used for..
Cool stuff dude! As a fellow T-Shirt Artist and running a whole print shop for screen print I appreciate your techniques :) I do my art a lot different and all vector based so it's nice to see some photoshop works :)
Your videos are so helpful and I LOVE your art!!!
This is a great help. Thanks to this ♥️
Its cool, and very helpful..
Very Informative.
Thank you very much ten hun.. 🤙🤙
I'm so happy I found your channel, I love your art style and universe, really inspiring stuff 😄. Also thanks so much for sharing your way of doing this sort of art, it really helps to see how different artists work. Thanks again!!
Adl Poky awesome! Glad u found my work! I appreciate it :)
aww. loving the spade heart club and diamond tattoo!!! :D
Awesome video! Really comprehensive and also love ur style😍. I did have a tip tho about merging the layers on a new layer, you could use the shortcut ctrl+alt+shift+e after selecting the layers and it merges them into a new layer at the top of your layers. (i may have said layers too much..sorry 😅)
great tutorial mate thanks
I WOULD GLADLY SIT THROUGH A 3 HOUR VIDEO
This was so helpful, love your style, thank you :)
Thank you for this, im going to show it to my super talented kids, and definately try it myself!
thank you for sharing your tips, it is very helpful and made me a lot of inspiration
Great way to coloring your line art. I would like to know if you have any tutorial about how to choose the color palette. Greetings
Thanks for this one! Fantastic tutorial.
Thx to TH-cam for recommending this channel to me. You are awesome. Can you make a tutorial "How do you paint murals and what colors do you use. And how did you come to your first order"?
Mah Boi this shit is fire...everything I have seen you create is the business...listen...this dude is my favorite artist..fo sho...mad props...I will be copping the entire collection!...
You inspire me. thank you.
Thank you for sharing your process with us!
Awesome , thank you so much for taking the time showing every step!! much appreciated!
thank you so much for sharing ..inspire me start to do art
Thankyou ✨❤️ tenhun
Hey Ten Hun,
👏👏👏 😍🎨👊😄 I really enjoy this video! Probably going to watch it more than 5 times so I can practice what your doing while listening & watching. 😂 Do you ever do that... have a window open or extra device going with a tutorial up & just do the work at the same time? This video is defiantly getting saved under Art/Photoshop Tutorials for sure! Do you have lessons/classes on Skill Share or is everything just on TH-cam & your Patron?
🙌 Thanks for providing so much info for artists! I have been really trying to apply a lot of these things to our out and business and it is seeming to help so far! I really appreciate what you do for lifting up the whole community by sharing your experiences as an artist! 🙏
Kind Regards,
Autumn Fawcett
Very cool!
0:25 I laughed so hard my tea went all over my monitor.
🤣🤣🤣
Really enjoyed your video. You're definitely talented..
Is this still your method 3 years later? Super curious how you do it now with iPad and all.
I'm still watching, thanks man!
Wheeee! You have the same graphics tablet as me \o/ i love it too, soooooo much cheaper than wacom but totally does the job!
WOW....This is amazing.
THANK YOU SO MUCH THIS IS AWESOME !!! Just what I was hoping for
Glad to hear it :) Hope you make some dope stuff with these tips
Thank you for posting this
