Well, the evolutionists were 'challenging' the rules of science by believing the soft tissues were over 65 million years old in spite of organic chemistry.

    *Ezekiel.31:*
6All the birds of the sky
    nested in its boughs,
all the animals of the wild
    gave birth under its branches;
    all the great nations
    lived in its shade.
    7It was majestic in beauty,
    with its spreading boughs,
    for its roots went down
    to abundant waters.
8The cedars in the garden of God
    could not rival it,
    nor could the junipers
    equal its boughs,
    nor could the plane trees
    compare with its branches-
no tree in the garden of God
    could match its beauty.
    9I made it beautiful
    with abundant branches,
the envy of all the trees of Eden
    in the garden of God.
    *2Peter.3:*
5For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
    *Genesis.1:*
2And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
    *Proverbs.8:*
23I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.
24When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.
    *Genesis.1:*
1In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
    *Isaiah.45:*
18For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it,
he created it not in vain,
he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.
    *Jeremiah.4:*
23I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.
24I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.
25I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.
26I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger.
27For thus hath the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end.
28For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black: because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and will not repent, neither will I turn back from it.
    *2Peter.3:*
13Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
    *Matthew.13:*
52 Jesus added, “Every teacher of religious law who becomes a disciple in the Kingdom of Heaven is like a homeowner who brings from his storeroom new gems of truth as well as old.”

I hadn't seen much about soft tissue finds since Dr Schweitzer first made a stir and didn't know that so many other finds had occurred. I was surprised and pleased to see a commercial within this show. I believe that means that it is monetised. Here is a dumb, off topic question. Does CMI get more if I actually watch an ad instead of clicking through after five seconds?

The 30k to 50k C14 ages for fossil fuels is consistent with C14 formation starting up at Creation and the C14 levels steadily increasing towards today's near equilibrium.

    • @creationministriesintl
      @creationministriesintl  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

That is right. As stated in the footnotes of reference 4 here:
"A sample purporting to be from the Flood era would not be expected to give a ‘radiocarbon age’ of about 5,000 years, but rather 20,000-50,000 years. Indeed, that is consistently what one obtains from specimens of oil, gas and fossil wood from layers allegedly ‘millions of years’ old. The reason is: radiocarbon dating assumes that the current 14C/12C ratio of about 1 in a trillion (after adjusting for the Industrial Revolution) was the starting ratio for the objects dated. But this ratio would have been much smaller before the Flood due to the fact that the earth had a much stronger magnetic field. Because pre-and para-Flood objects would have started with a much lower initial 14C/12C ratio, the measured amount today would also be smaller, and be (mis-)interpreted as much older."
However, the fact that 14C would have decayed away and not be present in a fossil if it is over 100,000 years old places an upper limit that is problematic for evolutionists who want to claim that dinosaurs died out millions of years ago.

I think where we're studying gets about 10 inches moisture a year. Sorry, that's all I can recall. I think ranchers have to allow 100 acres/animal unit (cow and calf). In my part of Arizona, we're allowed 1/57 acres, but we get a lot more rain, 13-16 inches :)

Rocks go through cycles of change every 2 to 6 billion years, going from metamorphic, to igneous, to sedimentary rock (but not necessarily in any given order.) How is it possible for a rock containing a fossil to go through these changes without destroying the fossil within?

    • @creationministriesintl
      @creationministriesintl  2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

Most fossils are found in sedimentary rocks. And no manner of preservation, sedimentary or otherwise is known to be able to preserve these for millions of years, let along billions. Even background radiation alone would eradicate biomolecules in a million years.
Lesser known is the fact that most dinosaur fossils are not completely mineralized.
As the evolutionist and dinosaur expert, Philip Currie admits, “Bones do not have to be ‘turned into stone’ to be fossils, and usually most of the original bone is still present in a dinosaur fossil.” (Currie, Philip., Koppelhus, Eva., 101 Questions about Dinosaurs, 101 Questions about Dinosaurs, Dover publications, 1996, p.11)

For me when Jack Horner replies he looks kind of sheepish and dumbfounded, as though his face admits to the truth that the tissue just can't be millions of years old. This is the problem in this world, people don't care about the truth, they don't pursue the truth of a matter most but their ideology instead. That is why Mary and Jack will continue to provide poor explanations which just represent a credulity fallacy of, "this tissues exists, we believe in millions of years therefore it is millions of years." And nothing you say can change their mind because it's as though there is a blank space in their minds where logical thinking no longer is accepted if it goes against evolution. That means they believe in evolution like a blind faith/religion.

Both are long ages Christians. Horner was booted out of his own museum for helping Schweitzer, who exposed what paleontologists knew decades ago, soft tissues. Dr. Crichton, Jurassic Park fame, studied medicine in California and in 1963 was told of them by a professor. He knew they could extract DNA from fossilized insects and he wrote that in Jurassic Park before soft tissues went public.

@@matteomastrodomenico1231 No, you are ignoring the obvious because you're emotionally biased to stick with what you've been indoctrinated to think is "fact", supposedly "Dinosaurs died out 65 million years ago," or so they tell you. The evidence, *actual science we observe,* is clearly going against your indoctrination. Now put these pieces of evidence of soft dinosaur tissue together with looking at recent (within the last 2000 years) history of multiple accounts of people from ALL different cultures claiming to see huge lizard creatures they used to call "dragons"? Since the word "dinosaur" only came about in 1841, way after Europeans called those huge lizards "dragons" over the last 1500+ years. Even Native Americans have carved on walls shapes that look a lot like T-rex and a sauropod, before the Europeans ever arrived here in the Americas.
You'll have to come to terms with the fact that you've been a part of a worldwide program to mislead the masses into thinking "science" (not) has supposedly disproved the bible account of creation. Spit your pride out and accept reality: evolutionism is not science. They will claim some microscopic mutations are "evolution" and then conclude that "evolution is fact," but they're tricking you again in this way. Small mutations, at a LOSS of information and not gain, helping current living organisms able to adapt to differing environments does not at all prove that birds came from dinosaurs over millions of years, for example. That's a crazy leap in delusion on their part. They're trying to make their wishful fantasy of atheistic "evolution" jump on the train of science but, reality is working against them now that we have the internet to show how bogus their faux science is. It's atheistic delusion, all trying to fight against the witness of the bible, that God created the universe.
Just like we saw a small river running through the valley AFTER the Mt. St. Helens eruption in 1980, the river did not cut through the valley over long periods of time. The river only showed up AFTER the huge eruption of sediment and water came down. The same as when we see small changes in mutations on the genetic level, it does not prove that long periods of time even happened to then make a totally new kind of organism. It's all fantasy on the atheists' thought process.

Thanks, Jonathan and Joel for another very informative video. Requires some very active listening and maybe watching a few times to master the arguments but so valuable.
My brother in Christ, Jonathan, you concern me greatly. Your weight has increased exponentially since I last saw a picture or video of you. Admitedly, it's been a while as I'm just getting back into creation things. But, I remember meeting you in Canberra at a talk you gave in the 90s and you were slim (or at least, much slimmer) and at least, in appearance, healthy. What happened? Your belly fat is in serious danger zone territory! You are morbidly obese. Stop it, already!
You are being and have been greatly used of God in this ministry and I - and I'm sure countess others - want you to be around for many more years to come. You have served God and his people by clearing away so much confusion and deception in people's minds and by giving stunning clarity regarding the trustworthiness of God and his Word. Your work has and will stand the test of time. I have read it, heard it and loved it. I honour you and your great service and I love you in Christ. Please, please, please address your eating habits and consequent weight issue. Look into Micheal Moseley and his presentation of keto dieting. Also, Dr. Berg on TH-cam. They've got stuff to say on this that will help. Get rid of all junk food and eat only healthy. You can do it - I did. Do it permanently. Do it for the sake of Christ and his people as well as for yourself. If you don't, you may not have a whole lot longer to live and if you die before your time, I will be very upset with you! I know this is a weird comment to post but it's out of love. I want to see you serve the Lord into your 80s and 90s and not die of a heart attack in your 60s. Blessings to you and yours, your work and ministry colleagues. And now, please get to work. Take some time out for your own health as if your life depended on it. Because it does. ☺

Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.” This comment may be humiliating for Jonathan and you may not know the full story - even if your words have come from a place of kindness. Always remember to be empathetic. God bless you x

The earth is not 6,000 years old and the Bible does not teach this. Hebrews 4:9-10: "There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his." This tells us that the 7th day has not ended. Thus day 7 is a long time span, thus day 1 to 6 must be a long time span. Each believer are to enter into day 7. Also there no "evening and morning" for the 7th day. As day 7 as not ended. Biblical Hebrew has a limited vocabulary, with fewer words compared to other languages, such as English or Spanish. This means words often have multiple meanings determined by context. Day - yom is commonly rendered as day in English translations, but the word yom can be used in different ways to refer to different time spans thus literally is:
    Sunrise to sunset
    Sunset to next sunset
Time period of unspecified length. (long time span ).
