    I quite like the design of this.

    I'm glad that TCL have moved towards using more unique designs for their Blackberry devices. The DTEK devices were basically just Alcatel devices that said Blackberry on them. This is much nicer.

      @doddsyist 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      AdamIsTalking software is important. Especially software that puts many of BlackBerry's 38,000 smartphone pioneering patents to good use. Dtek60 is a lot more than an alcatel with a BlackBerry logo.

      Bruce Banner Yeah, I know. I just meant that it's nice that they've started to match that we more of a unique design and identity, rather than putting all of those features in a recycled design.

    Thanks for the hands on. Would appreciate if you touched on the battery life and camera quality in regular & low light, in the full review!

    Great unboxing. Two questions... When you do the full review can you touch on day to day usage for an average user and how the snapdragon 625 holds up? Also camera quality for average quick pics. I appreciate your input and what you do. Thank you.

    Thanks for this review. I don't know if somehow I missed it, but I didn't see you using the keypad. How do you access it and I am assuming it doesn't have the two options such as on the Keyone. Is that correct?

  • @gilesbovis707
    @gilesbovis707 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Two questions....does it allow for the keyboard shortcuts and will the screen lift like the keyone?

    I want a another high end device from blackberry! A bolder keyboard like passport se. Stronger battery! History making with largest ram for mobile devices. Largest internal space size in the series. All that and still keeping the high end touch screen, cameras (positioned in the best location for captures! - centered position), SD card slot 2tb size.

    Do you still get to swipe up and right for the hub? i noticed the reviewer struggled to find the hub and thought that was odd.

    • @mickaelmtp2397
      @mickaelmtp2397 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Tak8835 not possible on most BlackBerry Android devices. However you can configure the convenience key to launch the Hub and that works out pretty well.

    Never watched your review's before, but you do a good job. Thanks. Liking this bb, but am a big front facing stereo speakers fan, so constantly looking for those. Maybe bb will surprise us one day. Though they don't seem to be too interested in audio outside the headphones. Thanks much

    Again...good design actually...but when I go for a Blackberry, that should be because of its physical keyboard...so I'm sticking with my Keyone

    don't get me wrong. I love this design, but why does every phone now seem wide after the S8. That 18:9 ratio ruined us for every phone after it. nice phone though.

    I cannot understand Blackberry, why shall we pay 400€ for this device, if we can find for a half price the same specs on other devices?? It's around 150-200€ more expensive, even when is NOT a Blackberry, it's Chinese TCL. What's the point? What's the 200€ difference with for example a Xiaomi 1A?

  • @iamakhiljohn
    @iamakhiljohn 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    I dont find it worthy enough to justify that price tag. I totally like the design of the phone from the back but on the front side I don't like that Big bezel just for that navigation buttons on the bottom side of the phone. They could have utilised that space for a front firing speaker. This phone is only for those who are die hard Blackberry fans and for those who cares a lot about their privacy and security!!

      Doris Moser why would anyone in their right mind be a “fan” of a business? they’re there to suck up your money not to be your friend.

    • @terracethornhill

      The phone is all about security, right? Well the prominent bezels will likely cause any thieves you encounter to pass you by in hopes of stealing something more fashionable.

      Trevor Smith garbage specs? It’s a phone. Plus that gives you long battery life, which is what a phone should have.
