Hi Dejawolfs, I can only dream of VR for now! But I recorded this using a stick shifter (TH8A) and full heel-and-toe techniques, so I got at least half your smile! :) Cheers.
Hi JB, I was born when these cars were racing ('68). I play online, but I usually don't stream the races. May try to do so, or at least post new videos more often. Several good moments captured so far. Cheers.
It is! Too bad that this kind of "old school content" isn't more popular in multiplayer. You really gotta "work the car" to finish a long stint. Enjoy!
They revamped it in 2014, but I guess it's only for visitors, not for racing. Sadly, I was there in 2008 but back then they didn't allow me to even enter the area to take pictures. I live in Brazil, so it may take a while until I can go there again (if ever).
not really. for example the Todays runoff area behind the Variante Ascari must be replaced with tarmac. but F1 (which will still drive the Todays version) wouldn‘t have the runoff area no more and it would be dangerous.
Surething. In this particular video, I was running with longer gears (less acceleration, but better final). Since then, on newer versions, AC's AI have learnt to be faster. :)
I love Assetto Corsa, because it has so much great historical content such as the Lotus 49 and the Monza Oval.
Ah,die alte Monza-Rennstrecke.Da gab es wenigstens noch Spannung durch Windschattenrennen!😃Im Gegensatz zu heute☹
Indeed.
Thanks for sharing this incredible Monza circuit. Also, what a great car. Old days racing, great era.
Besides all the deaths
Careful what you wish for, those cars were death traps. A lot of people died in those things.
fantastico top top top
These 60s F1 cars with exposed engine look so cool from the back.
190mph, a foot off the ground in a kazoo with wheels? Hats off to the people who drove these things, they must've had balls the size of Jupiter.
Those bankings should be put in operation again!
Couldn't agree more. :)
this with a stick shifter and VR puts quite a smile on my face

Great video! thanks
This is Way beyond amazing! I was 16 years old when those cars were racing. Do you actually race live against other drivers?

E' un falso vergognoso
I can't wait until I get home for break to try this in VR. It looks like a blast, especially sitting full-throttle in that steep banking.

Excelente video!!
nice job
power of virtual reality
to be able to revive the Oval part of Monza
Could it be possible too reconstruct Monza too how it was in the 50/60s with the banking but with uptoodate safety ???...?

Dude, you got skills. Turn AI up to 103... give'em a chance, at least... lol
