      Hi. First drum filter, then MBBR, then UV. Ozone better to connect by a separate loop with its own pump

    I guess nanobubble oxygenation are getting attention nowdays, low power consumption and higher gas dissolving ratio up to 90%, and can supersaturate water up to 50 mg/L.

      Water oxygen levels that reach closer to Supersaturated are more and more unstable as it approaches 100% . One rise in water temp and the oxygen can discharge and a large dip in oxygen will occur.

    With the oxygen cone and pure 90% pure oxygen fully absorbed what would be the DO reading.
    Please help me.

      We use Speece cone (self made fiberglass) to happily fulfill the dissolved oxygen (DO) requirement for our Asian seabass culture. It provides oxygen levels of up to 25 mg/l (ppm) at the entry point of the culture tank, gets immediately consumed to 11 ppm for being an intensive culture with high protein diet and at the exit point comes down to 6 ppm, a very healthy concentration of DO for MBBR biofilter.
      Speece cones can provide dissolved oxygen levels of up to 50 mg/l depending on cone size, temperature, pressure, flow rate, and purity and amount of oxygen injected in to it. Our cone is designed to handle full flow of recirculation (one circulation per hour), but we are planning for a side stream setup to save on flow requirements while still providing very high levels of dissolved oxygen assisted with the use of some type of venturi system for oxygen injection to create some turbulence and to enhance the cone efficiency.

      with Oxygen Cone and such a high DO level, have you ever tried it in shrimp farming? what will be the stocking density for shrimp at 20 mg/l?
