    Hi all, I hope you enjoy this one as much as I did. I've become a real lover of painting big cats in watercolour.

    WoW! That tiny little dot makes such a huge difference! Just like the Blue blob of paint on the the Van Gogh Chair I saw at the London Tate that blue my mind. 😮

      @@tomshepherdartist No hurry kind sir. Its most kind of you. I'm just enjoying your vids while I recupe from the daily radiation. I'm wearing a pump that supplies a stream of chemical 24/7 so it's good to let it do it's thing while I try to learn from you. I've formed a liking for Princeton Neptune and Aqua Elite brushes. I recently added a Princeton Lauren synthetic for the dry brush bits. Works a treat. Thanks again for the wonderful lessons.

    I love painting big cats too. So far I've done a tiger, a bobcat and some of the smaller cats. Leopards, Cheetahs and Panthers are on my to do list. A lion is next.

    BACHONG is a brand of watercolour paper I have never heard of until you mentioned it. I'll look it up for sure. Thanks for sharing Mr Shepherd.

      Baohong is an excellent brand and has quickly become my favourite paper at the moment. They do a student range too, which is also excellent and slightly more affordable. Good for practicing on. T

    Hi Tom, did you once say you now live in Pembrokeshire? William Marshall Country? As I would have like to attend one of your classes but I am miles away on a tiny island. 🙋‍♀️🐝🐝

    I wonder if you could move your paper up closer to the camera, in future animal videos, once you've done the detail on the face, so that we could see it up close. Is that possible? Wonderful lesson on a wonderful painting! Thank you so much

    • @tomshepherdartist
      @tomshepherdartist  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Rosemary, yes absolutely! Good idea. The next few are recorded all ready but I’ll see it can zoom in without loosing too much quality...and future recordings I’ll zoom in on the area. Thanks for the support and so pleased you enjoyed it. T
