Honestly despite just being dollar store tarkov it has some incredible quality of life things in it like if you take your friends items out of a raid it will send it right back to them in their mailbox or like what we saw with the magazine going into Aqua's bag instead of the ground at 14:20
Couple of tips. Tier 1-2 armor is useless. Just run t3 in every raid. Smgs are op in this game. The leg meta is stronger than in tarkov. Dum dum rounds. In maps like armory, it's better to bring big mags and lots of ammo instead of a ton of mags. Mosins, uzis and m9a3 are the zero to hero weapons.
Guide for shotgun in ABI Effective range matters in every gun stats Spray type slugs (recommended) 1. Type 8 - low penetration but dmg spread and injure good 2. the people who are saying ABI stole code are tripping, the files they are referencing are separate config files not related to the actual code of the game at all. You could literally have any name you want in the config files if thats what you want, seeing how trolling ABI is on the twitter and the history they have with BSG wouldn't surprise me if they are just trolling even more.

Man arena breakout looks cool, and I’ll keep following it, but my main issue with this and Grayzone, are that they both are way too clean and shiny looking. Mainly the graphics with Grayzone, and it’s not a huge complaint, and then the UI with Arena Bustdown lmao. The UI looks like a mobile game, and doesn’t have a lot of character. Small complaint, but I hope both games find their own unique style and feel, instead of just “next gen pretty”.
I'd agree. Tarkov's world building is hard to beat. Every area looks flushed out. Stuff is way too "tidy", for lack of a better word, in all of the buildings in these two games
The charm of Tarkov that makes it so special is the sound effects, the detail in all the foley work from coughing/choking when wounded, the opening of pineapple juice box, followed by the refreshing gulps and breath of relief. The rattle of each gun when you lower from ADS, along with that frosted coloring style of gun metal and harsh contrast lighting in mid-day. The meticulous detail of every step on gravel, grass, concrete and wood. If this ABI game wants to compete they need to copy those things instead of just copying the UI.
the post raid stats are what I love the most. I do love how SMOOTH and rich unreal engine is, it makes tarkov look like a game made in 2014 or something
From my 8 hour experience here's some Breakout Infinite cons/pros compared to EFT: Pros: - UI Design and Statistics is nicer for example after raid it shows you the path you took with some info where you killed someone, how long you stayed at certain location, etc. Still lacks some stats like K/D and hours played of the opponent, but at least it shows the level. - Good Performance / Optimization - Character design looks more "natural" with more variety - Very quick matchmaking - Better context menu for finding ammo, linked items or the same item to buy. - Sound system is arguably better and sounds themselves are good. - Weapon modding is far easier also mods/attachments are affordable relative to the weapon price. - You can match with randoms without you getting spawn killed for loot. Cons: - Graphics are better but not necessarily more immersive. Doesn't have that atmosphere of Tarkov nor detailed/realistic level design, the infrastructure makes not much sense just like in PUBG and Warzone. It feels more like a "set" or airsoft/training location built based on tactical needs rather than a location based on real world / proper infrastructure. - Gun and character mechanics are nowhere as good, it's basically CoD with short TTK, but better. - Gear/Weapons/Items aren't exact real life copies like in EFT. - AI is definitely not as smart/good as in EFT. Neutral: - Less hardcore, more chill and casual experience e.g. it has a compass at the top, a map, etc.
Also the guns are related to real guns from different countries you should check there name to get a btter understaning of the guns being added to the game

No, not at ALL. More like closer to Tarkov from maybe 2 or 3 years ago. Tarkov started as more of a tech demo, ACTUALLY early access game. There wasn't too much there yet, nor did they know what would succeed/fail, and what players most wanted/disliked. Tarkov has been around for a while now, and these devs have seen what worked or didn't, and the features or QoL that seemed missing or players wanted. Basically, they weren't taking much risk. They already knew what worked, and focused on and streamlined those aspects, and were able to design that game around already knowing what the features would be. They are also a pretty big company, with a lot of manpower and money, straight out the gate. It's also started with a more modern and suitable engine to build the game on, so that's another advantage. Not to mention, they previously launched a similar extraction shooter mobile game, so they start out alresdy being experienced in this type of game and engine. So, you can't compare that at all. Tarkov was different and unique when it launched, but now it belongs to an established genre, with certain staple features. This game basically got to skip all the risks and growing pains.
"As a consumer I don't care." Well I care - competition is GOOD, it forces them to improve their games, and if we have two games that are basically the same it gives us a choice. We will probably like one more than the other, I think??
I've went through the comments and have not seen one person mention that the mouse in the inventory screen is way off(like 2 inches). 24:40 is a great example of it. From the youtube vids I've seen so far, I am not sure if Aqua has mentioned it, but boy is it annoying.
Aqua has to do some funky things to make it so his stream works well. It causes the mouse indicator to be slightly off in the stream/recording. We are looking into different ways to fix it, but hopefully the game updates fix the issue and we don't need to do any more funky work around. Thanks for understanding. Just my 2 cents, but there needs to be an easier variant in this genre.. people have lives and cant grind tarky as much to make it enjoyable. The fact that BSG is basically gate keeping an entire genre is beyond me.. hopefully this game will survive and thrive because i gave up on Tarkov long ago. Just simply dont have the time with a family and kid in sports.
The jumping thing makes me not want to even touch this game. They need to make these games vaulting only or jumping should take like 1/2 or more of your stam. That is the top destroyer of games next to hacking.
Honestly I would've played Tarkov already if it wouldn't have to hop loops to get it, this being on Steam makes things much simpler. Also even just base Tarkov is really expensive, so it'd have to pay for quite a lot without knowing if I end up liking the game.
Honestly to me it's crazy that all these streamers and youtubers who have been close with BSG and both benefited from it in their own interests as well as helped publicize and hype up the game have now turned their back on the game entirely in favor of Arena Breakout. I think disabling the keybind text and some of the hud would help with immersion. That's something I love about tarkov. Theres not a bunch of shit covering your screen
This game looks pretty fun, but I agree on the immersion being less. The maps look like video game levels whereas in Tarkov they look more like real places. But at the end of the day less realistic maps might lead to better gameplay so could be a good thing
I think people tend to forget the other games that came before Tarkov that set the path for that. ARMA 2 DayZ Mod being a big example. While it is more scifi, it was still a hardcore game in which you looted and survived, instead of extracting. Extracting came from wanting games to be faster like PUBG but not wanting to do a BR. H1Z1, Miscreated, all of those games were shooters, and even extraction isn't unique to Tarkov because Hunt: Showdown. This was a game in development [as it is now] before Tarkov. At the end of the day, it's silly to argue. Just enjoy one game, or both. It's not your money or time being spent for those who are playing ABI or even Tarkov.

Its arcadey because it was a mobile game in its conception. It only recently became a pc game and pc gamers are only recognizing it because Tarkov has flopped. This is but a phase and you all will soon find another game to play.
looks fun my only gripe is it is a little to much copy and paste. besides the core gameplay and mechanics everything is basically the same as tarkov. from the attachments to even the little jingle when you die. this isn't to big of a deal though and I'm surprised at how solid the game looks and sounds coming from mobile developers. I just wish the put a little more effort into making it a bit more unique astatically .

Arena breakout has had some nerves calling BSG out for the unheard edition when their game is full of p2w stuff. Only played on Mobile but cant play games like that on a tablet. However, you can straight up buy ingame money.
This reminds of the time when dayz got crazy popular and there's a new survival game on alpha state every week While some of them weren't too bad, none of them managed to capture dayz's atmosphere, feel, and tone. That's what I believe made dayz stay alive until to this day The same goes for tarkov and the current era of "tarkov clones" we're seeing but in a different way I personally didn't like tarkov because it requires so much time and effort investment even on the most basic level, while the return value is mediocre at best (server issues, wipes, hackers, bugs and most importantly dying 30 secs into the match after gearing up for 20 mins and waiting another 15 mins to get on the game) The best thing that comes out from this whole thing would be bsg listening to player voices and actually fixing all these issues while people who play the game for a living (like aqua) playing other competitors like this example I wouldn't touch tarkov even though I like its gunplay but I'll definitely try arena when it comes out depending on their monetization strategy

I don't think they ripped any code, the game and everything is too different. There's nothing that feels like Tarkov in "ABI", only the concept/genre. What they could've ripped tho is some configs like stats of weapons, ammo, armor etc to save some balancing work also weapon sounds possibly since I bet getting weapons to record in China would be tricky, they would have to hire someone to record the sounds for them, but if they ripped from EFT no one could prove anything, because you can rip the sounds, audio edit it w/ EQ and other stuff and that's it, besides it's just weapon sounds. Also there would be profit, they will make a ton from microtransactions.

it's a good thing this game has 8 years to catch up. there's no proof at all that they've stolen code since they can't when tarkov is C# and ABI is C++ they would have to manually put everything in whilst converting it into a new coding language.
Actually there are conversion tools out there which make it alot easier to convert the code between game engines. Besides that, the Chinese are very skilled at ripping off other products. Tencent is no exceptuon.
Tencents entire business model is ripping game assets and reselling them with MTX. It would be trivial for them to rip Tarkov assets and C# code and just pay some consultants minimum wage to convert them to C++. Way easier than designing a game from scratch. But yea, not really sure why it’s even up for debate given tencents history as well as the evidence that’s been coming out. All evidence aside, literally just play the game and you can tell most of it is copied lol

I'm certainly not fighting, but I want Tarkov to die. They've had so many years to fix their game, it's still not even in full release (maybe never will be) and they hit us with stuff like Unheard of edition while simultaneously doing nothing about cheating? Also, them being super cheap not having enough servers for wipes and players getting 15 to 25 minute load times? UNACCEPTABLE. I hate BSG. Good to see someone has already made a better, WORKING version of this type of game.

The games using admin mode so that it can view your game and it can actually see if you have any cheat programs on it (such as looking through walls and outlines) using some sort of ai, which apparently requires admin mode. But, its also Tencent so lets just also start spreading stuff about them stealing our braincells or something because its funnier
They'll need to nerf stamina when jumping because it's highly unrealistic, even for a gameplay sense. It's way too Fortnite/Arcadey and should stay in those games. Fall damage also seems to need to be upped.
You have on any idea what a military person can do ha there stamina is juck as hell the amount of training for stamina reinforcement in the military is crazy running 10-20 kilometers and swim for over a 30minutes the a officer will jump on you drag you down to drown you after with a full back pack on your back and survive That a juck stamina so your saying its like fictional stamina that you can jump multiple times is pretty naive

Its arcadey because it was a mobile game in its conception. It only recently became a pc game and pc gamers are only recognizing it because Tarkov has flopped. This is but a phase and you all will soon find another game to play.

looks fun my only gripe is it is a little to much copy and paste. besides the core gameplay and mechanics everything is basically the same as tarkov. from the attachments to even the little jingle when you die. this isn't to big of a deal though and I'm surprised at how solid the game looks and sounds coming from mobile developers. I just wish the put a little more effort into making it a bit more unique astatically .

While some of them weren't too bad, none of them managed to capture dayz's atmosphere, feel, and tone. That's what I believe made dayz stay alive until to this day
The same goes for tarkov and the current era of "tarkov clones" we're seeing but in a different way
I personally didn't like tarkov because it requires so much time and effort investment even on the most basic level, while the return value is mediocre at best (server issues, wipes, hackers, bugs and most importantly dying 30 secs into the match after gearing up for 20 mins and waiting another 15 mins to get on the game)
The best thing that comes out from this whole thing would be bsg listening to player voices and actually fixing all these issues while people who play the game for a living (like aqua) playing other competitors like this example
I wouldn't touch tarkov even though I like its gunplay but I'll definitely try arena when it comes out depending on their monetization strategy

I don't think they ripped any code, the game and everything is too different. There's nothing that feels like Tarkov in "ABI", only the concept/genre.
What they could've ripped tho is some configs like stats of weapons, ammo, armor etc to save some balancing work also weapon sounds possibly since I bet getting weapons to record in China would be tricky, they would have to hire someone to record the sounds for them, but if they ripped from EFT no one could prove anything, because you can rip the sounds, audio edit it w/ EQ and other stuff and that's it, besides it's just weapon sounds.
Also there would be profit, they will make a ton from microtransactions.

there's no proof at all that they've stolen code since they can't when tarkov is C# and ABI is C++ they would have to manually put everything in whilst converting it into a new coding language.
Actually there are conversion tools out there which make it alot easier to convert the code between game engines.
Besides that, the Chinese are very skilled at ripping off other products. Tencent is no exceptuon.
Tencents entire business model is ripping game assets and reselling them with MTX. It would be trivial for them to rip Tarkov assets and C# code and just pay some consultants minimum wage to convert them to C++. Way easier than designing a game from scratch.
But yea, not really sure why it’s even up for debate given tencents history as well as the evidence that’s been coming out. All evidence aside, literally just play the game and you can tell most of it is copied lol

@@RogueAndroid Yes, there are conversion tools, all of which require a ton of work after to fix the code, especially with how differently C++ and C# handles memory management. And with a game, it's probably more work to convert code and make it work, than just coding it from scratch.

They've had so many years to fix their game, it's still not even in full release (maybe never will be) and they hit us with stuff like Unheard of edition while simultaneously doing nothing about cheating? Also, them being super cheap not having enough servers for wipes and players getting 15 to 25 minute load times? UNACCEPTABLE. I hate BSG. Good to see someone has already made a better, WORKING version of this type of game.

The games using admin mode so that it can view your game and it can actually see if you have any cheat programs on it (such as looking through walls and outlines) using some sort of ai, which apparently requires admin mode. But, its also Tencent so lets just also start spreading stuff about them stealing our braincells or something because its funnier

They'll need to nerf stamina when jumping because it's highly unrealistic, even for a gameplay sense. It's way too Fortnite/Arcadey and should stay in those games. Fall damage also seems to need to be upped.
You have on any idea what a military person can do ha there stamina is juck as hell the amount of training for stamina reinforcement in the military is crazy running 10-20 kilometers and swim for over a 30minutes the a officer will jump on you drag you down to drown you after with a full back pack on your back and survive That a juck stamina so your saying its like fictional stamina that you can jump multiple times is pretty naive
