No, Istanbul was just a connection flight to Athenes so it was easier to wait but time passed so fast there. The whole airport is like a city 😂 I only didn’t find a gym there but I haven’t asked so who knows maybe they have one.

Hey, I have no idea. Maybe better to check with IST airport and Turkish authorities to get accurate information. In may case, they didn't ask me for any documents, and didn't put a visa stamp as I wasn't leaving the airport. However, on the way back, I had two days stopover in Istanbul and had to go through passport control on the exit.

It was in the middle of the night and morning time so naturally had no interested to go to the city but on my way back I stayed 2 days in Istanbul@@MadushaMadusha-m9k
worst airport in Europe.
I wanted to buy an Apple Watch and an iPhone and they weren't available at the airport. How can this be possible? such a big airport and doesn't sell apple.
😂 there are so many airports that don't sell those but nevertheless, at the time I was in IST they had watch and phones in multiple stores.... Also, I don't think its considered to be Europe and if I would compare my experience, every airport in Europe was worse from IST. What is your favourite airport from your experiences?
