    Thank you. I thought I'd bought the wrong 'clip' part or would have to get somebody else to remove the pole...... But after watching your video I knew I wouldn't break anything so felt up to doing i myself, and it was all changed in 5 minutes.

    This was one of the best videos I’ve seen because you showed how to remove the bracket, and the various types. Thank you!

    Brilliant! Pure gold! Thanks for demoing all the different types of brackets and how to take them apart - mine was one of those and I before I watched your video, I just couldn't see how to get it off. You saved the day!

    Thank you - this was a job that didn't look obvious until you showed me how to do it! I was worried about breaking the bracket casing but your instructions were incredibly clear so it was no problem at all. Many thanks!

    George, Thank you for the clearest and most comprehensive video I have been able to find on the net for this job. I did not have the gumption to look under the bottom shower bar post until you showed me where to look. When I did, I found a small grub screw holding the cover on. All I need do now is find a good fit allen key and see if it will undo without undue effort. Thank you and regards, Trev, Coventry

    Thank you for the great video, I have an offshore "chrome" shower head/slide bracket, and for the life of I cannot get the cap off, I am tempted to actually grind/cut the slider bracket off and simply replace it with one similar in this video.
    My question is:
    Is there no easier way of determining the diameter of the rail?

    To remove a rusted screw you can drill the head off, then remove the body with a pair of pliers or pull the plastic bracket off over the screw and remove the screw again with pliers, then use a larger head screw to reattach the bracket.

    For MIRAS shower brakets , there is a hole at the bottom near the wall. You have to unscrew using an ALUM key to loosen the outer casing of the bracket

    To find out the correct diameter of your pole, it's easier to use a measuring tape to get the circumference and then divide that by Pi (or 3.14) to get the diameter.

    Hi George. My shower holding bracket has stopped working. It just slides down to the bottom of the slide bar. It there a way to fix it or will I need to replace it? I push the button but nothing happens. There's a rubber plug on the front side that is hidden by the shower handle. If I take out the rubber plug, is there a screw or something that I can adjust to fix the slider button?

    Hi I have a Triton T90xr it's developed a leak from the shower head when I removed shower head and hose the leak is coming from the bottom of the unit above the prd can you advise how to fix ?

    • @showerdoctor
      @showerdoctor  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unless the heating tank I can't think where the leak is from.
      Switch the power off give it a good dry out then look very carefully to see if you can spot where the leak is from, if you can find out where it is from then we may be able to help a little more.

    Does it matter if the shower holder release button is on the top or the bottom, as long as the hose holder is the correct way up?

    • @Munroist2354
      @Munroist2354 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +MrUniman69 The button is usually on top but it is not really important.

      Thank you for your reply, I put it on upside down and I don't really want to dismantle it all again to place it the correct way up. Keep posting, your videos are very helpful, many thanks.
