    Thank you for this video! Watched your other one before buying a shower head from bunnings - turns out it’s the same model (Estilo) as the one in this video. Thanks for the information regarding option to leave the old backing plate on (we left it on, though theres a bit of a gap between the new wall bracket and backing plate). Nevertheless we feel we got a good tight seal without a leak so far. Your videos saved the day - it was so easy to replace the shower head!

    Thanks bud. Exactly the shower head I wanted to remove/replace. It might help push your channel along a little if you mention the types (maybe even brands) and definitely the sizes of tools used as I reckon I got lucky finding that Eclipse adjustable (yours is likely the highly sought after 200mm) because my standard, but large, adjustable wrench (spanner) wasn't large enough. Some pausing of this video and the fact I live in Australia helped me get the properly sized tool. Also this particular shower head (caroma retro shower outlet) I feel had a much larger spanner diameter (33.9mm-ish) than some others might have. Bonza vids though, super helpful. Thanks

    Urgent question: I have a small gap between my shower fitting and the wall. And the little metal circle that is meant to stay there as a backing and to make the shower look nice is loose. How do I close that gap, I’ve tightened as much as I can

    • @billshowto
      @billshowto  ปีที่แล้ว

      The tread are too long and will have to be cut down to suit ( the pipe coming out of the wall). You can use an angle grinder, hack saw or use a specific tool to cut it down

    • @Sunstarlight
      @Sunstarlight ปีที่แล้ว

      @@billshowto ok that makes sense, I have another question. Is that why my attachment won’t turn any further. The cord needs to be facing down but right now it’s diagonal. There also isn’t any grooves for a wrench to turn

    • @billshowto
      @billshowto  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s right , it won’t turn any further because it’s already threaded as far as it can go. As for having it in the correct final position, make sure you apply Teflon ( plumbers tape ) to the threads so you can have it line up correctly
