Hi David!! I have a Beyerdynamic DT770 pro 32 ohms variant that I run through Fiio Q3's single ended output. I mainly listen to local 16/24 bit FLAC Orchestral music played through Neutron. My concern is that the Fiio is able to drive it to loud volumes but the headphones full potential remains hidden. Please suggest a portable dongle dac that can drive my Beyers to their full potential. Thanks!!
That three legged bottom design choice is weird. Maybe it works best if you have a warped desk but how common is that, especially considering anyone buying a $600 dac/amp likely doesn't have a warped desktop? Instead you've introduced a problem that didn't need to exist. Am I missing something?
I'm from Russia. 17.11.2023 had the experience of listening to Earmen ST-Amp in the audio equipment store. I listened through the FiiO M11S player provided to me with the qobuz program installed. The sound is awesome, great bass, the sound is melodic, smooth, warm. But all this charm is crossed out by clicking after 10-15 minutes of listening. The Earman STAmp starts clicking when changing or rewinding a track. The clicking is loud and sharp, as if a microphone is being tapped and this sound is transmitted to the headphones. I connected it to my phone, started music through the available player on the phone and also heard clicks. There were no clicks on the foobar. I was surprised. An expensive DAC with an amplifier clicks. It should not click at all in any way. FIIO K9/FIIO K9 Pro they don't care which source, there are no clicks at all
What’s your intro music ..it’s got phenomenal BASS energy 😳 I go with separate components. Topping E50 DAC Drop 789 amp Xduoo 604 amp Sen’s 650 ( main headphones) HiFiman 400i 2020 ( planar ) And a whole host of IEM’s 😁👍🍕☕️
What i meant is, i'd got akm dac..in fact in my dac amp has dual inside 4 balanced perposed Ess..sabre Na..i'll skip that delta sigma chips.. Btw my system again..Delta sigma- tubes amp..IEM endgame peace!
can you turn off the speakers? or will the speakers mute when you put in a headphone? no point to have headphone and speakers at the same time
are your drivers detecting the amp?

This or topping ? Isn’t topping better spec?
Which Topping? They have like 100 models. I think the amp section of the ST Amp is better but it's not the best DAC.

There's no dongle that will outperform the Q3...

How do you connect an iPhone to it? It doesn’t have USB-C input.
