Bug spray, sunscreen, foot powder (blue gold bond is the best), and wet wipes are always a must for the field. I would also pack a tick key in case a tick latches on, and red lens headlamps are a must since red lights are a bit harder to see at longer distances than white lights at night.
Also, pack your lickies and chewies, preferably snacks that are packed with proteins and sodium to keep you going. Finally, just like Jet said, you can NEVER go wrong with a good Woobie, it is God’s gift for the field.

Another solution ive found to eye protection fogging is to get goggles with a fan. They are pretty expensive but stop fog and keep your eye area cool. Not sure about how reliable they are but seems like a good choice if you have a few extra bucks to spend

I went to Strike on Salsk too, and saw Jet as we took the shoot house. It was my first time going to MSW and I absolutely loved it. The main thing that I found EXTREMELY useful is extra pairs of all your undergarments. Extra socks, underwear, etc. You will thank yourself when you need to change out of the worst pair of socks/underwear you've probably ever seen into something that makes you feel (somewhat) less gross. But also, if you're going to be going to one of these events, make sure that you train with all of your gear. Even if that just means putting everything on and walking a mile every day, it will absolutely save your skin and make the event much more enjoyable for you.

If you’re in swampy/jungle conditions it’s a terrible idea to use waterproof boots/socks because your feet will feel like they’re in an oven and water will get in from the top of the boot, so it’s best to find a good jungle boot like Salomon or merrell. Or even military surplus hot weather/jungle boots

I do 4 pairs of socks, 1 being waterproof pair. My sleep system/waterproof liner, a Woobie, 1 extra uniform. I keep a extra pair of boots/shoes in my car just incase. 2 lipo Batteries, headlamp+extra batteries, I usually just bring a couple beef stew mres. One of the only tolerable ones. I bring the same tools as you, but i carry cls scissors and wire cutters on my kit to cut myself out of thorns or barbwire, (been to a few milsims where wire was unearthed while low crawling. everyone was surprised). Ill also bring a tarp, 550cord, and bungee for a folding tent. lol. Way faster then my lightfighter and good for protecting gear from rain if it decides to.

General question here from a noob haha. How easy is it to get to your vehicle from a milsim?
I've built my chest rig to carry everything I need for a full day of fighting. And my rucksack will handle maybe 48-72 hours of clothing/sleepsystem items.
But things like extra boots and guns there is no way I could carry them sadly. But if I can leave that stuff in the car... that's sort of a game changer lol.

As a serving soldier the other side of the world, I approve this vid, just if you are here or UK don't wear water proof socks the whole time because they'll make sh"t of your feet, and get nice high boots that fit comfortably that have some ability to either dry fast or keep water out.

    - hard military boots, to hold my ankles if possible, waterproof
    - pistol holser, with additional magazine, and a small flashlight in it
    - molle system small pack on my right thigh with multitool kit
    - warbelt, with 2-2 AR and pistol mag, a secondary small pouch for a second tool kit, magdump pouch and
    - first aid kit ( bandage, alcohol, stiches, some pills for headache and small discomfort stuff, scissors)
    - plate carrier with 3 AR mag in front, admin pouch with my personal ID stuff etc , a grenade pouch in front and 2 in the back -> breaching( im the point man in 99% ), AR mag puch in the back also if somebody need it, one pistol mag pouc on the side, with another admin pouch for stuff i might need during the game( snakcs, cigarette, any small portion of food, small cloth, tissue depends on the weather and condition and what my teamates bring ), radio pouch of course, glowing stick on the back 3 piece
    Backpack:
    - sleeping bag, sleeping pad as you mentioned
    - battery, mobile battery charger
    - ammo
    - additional magazines
    - spare underwear, socks, t-shirts, spare eye protection in case someone need it
    - spare grenades
    - a bigger first aid kit - the ones in the car probably
    - spare battery for radio also
    And i think thats it.
If its summer, then of course anti mosqutio spray and stuff.
And yeah as you mentioned in the video, for cooking it might be good to bring some of the propane stuff.
    What do you guys think?

Man I Always Always Always bring an IFAK or some sort of homeade medkit with me everywhere I go. I haven't played airsoft in years; but I'll be damned if I didn't have to reach into my utility pouch full of medical gear at least a dozen times or so within a 2 year period. Having a first aid system with you is CRUCIAL to you and your friend's safety. And it should alway have a tourniquet and plenty of gauze, as well as medical tape and antiseptic soloutions and painkillers. (Rucks hurt your back and aspirin is wonderful for that reason) Not to mention a means of staying hydrated. I keep a stainless steel canteen on my duty belt as well a 3.5 L hydration bladder in my Ruck/Assault bag. Clean water is handy for initially cleaning wounds to assess the extent of an injury (Rinsing blood) and not to mention handwashing. (Far too overlooked to be honest) and of course hydration.

I would also suggest to bring some COVID Masks for your own protection and if things go down south. But also to the field you go to. Don't bring your video games. First Aid kit one for your standard first aid and the other one should be more technical if someone has a medical emergency and they might have a seizure, or a broken leg.

Can anyone tell me what eye pro/glasses he has in the video? I'm basically right at that point where I want to upgrade a lot of my existing kit into high quality stuff, and I've noticed that bulky goggles that fog are just absolute crap and I've been trying to decide between the large FOV goggles and a slim pair of 'glasses' goggles like these. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Just have a quick question for you. What do you recommend for people who wear contacts out to the field

prescription safety glasses meet the same ANSI ratings and thus work quite well.
