- This video is a little out of order since we spent a long time waiting for parts that were on back order but the show must go on. In this episode we are installing the Ironman 4x4 suspension kit along with some Dirt King uniball control arms. After the install we had a couple issues that popped up regarding the alignment and the swaybar. we are working toward a solution and will update you guys in the next episode. Interesting, like your video, I like your set up on your Armada, I got a 13 SL did away with airspring in the rears, swapped out the airshocks and coils, got new coils along with new shocks, and top coil rubber isolators, rides a lot better
Nice! We are a lot happier without the air struts too!
Another guy on the forum had the same issue as you and I had that issue on my Pathfinder. All in all, the coil will sag enough to bring you into spec.
Guys.....no need to grind the coil buckets......its only touching because wheels arent on the truck......it says so in the instructions that the Dirt Kings come in.......i know its a little bit of grinding but but you sacrifice the integry/strength of strut towers by grinding....sweet video!

Thank you! Yeah this is all new to us. The key issue is that the upper control arms need to have adjusement inward to correct the camber but no one has adressed this yet. We are working on something but probably wont be done for a while.
Where can I get those parts I want my to look the same way.

No, everything is totally normal, no warning lights or anything. The hoses to the shocks are still there along with the compressor, i'll probably remove them eventually.
Do all trim levels of the 2nd generation Armada come with leveling bags in the rear? Or is it SL and Platinum only? If you wanted, could you still use it with the ironman kit?
Did you get everything from Nisstek out in Colorado? Is the Ironman 4x4, still the only lift kit available for the second gen Armada? On Nissan's Mountain Patrol Armada that they beefed up for promos was wearing Icon Dynamic Suspension, but nothing is officially listed on their site. I am not familiar with Ironman..... are they a quality product?
We only got the front bumper from Nisstec, we got the suspension from ironman directly, they are big in australia, and we are pretty happy with the lift and ride quality. Calmini also makes a lift but its just spacers for the front strut and rear subframe. The icon and king shocks for the new Titans also would fit but only on the front. And they cost more than the complete ironman kit.
How many inches of lift did you finally end up achieving? What size wheel tire combo are you running? Would you be able to list all the parts and where you ended up buying from? I’m looking to do the same to my 20’ SL. Looks fantastic!!
I have 2018 nissan armada, I'm having issues with rear air suspension. I replced the rear air shocks and height sensor. It worked for a while, but now I am having issue. When I turn on the car the compressor kicks in and reinflates , but after 15 minutes of driving and hitting bumps, it deflates.
Air suspension issues are common and on going. This why most people either do a supenion lift or air suspension delete.
Dose iron man make suspension for the nissan armada 2017 and for the upper arms what are the seficstions for the dirt king cuz im struggling
Yes iron man makes a kit for the 2017-2020 armada and the front arms are listed for a 2016-2020 Nissan Titan but the front suspension is the same as Armadas.

This is the best I could find as far as part numbers go from my reciepts. We had to buy everything seperate since they were out of stock of the full kits.

Wish it was that easy in Aust! We have HBMC which makes it harder to lift but pricey.
Yeah ive heard its just tougher all around to modify them over there. Is it even worth keeping the HBMC? Seems like pretty neat tech.
DId you get the rear camber issue figured out? i just lifted mine and I am dealing with it now too....
We are working on a solution now, should have something to show in the next couple months.
@@Garage23 I have just ordered the SuperPro #SPF4131K camber bushing set along with the Camber/Toe Adjustment bolts #SPC87520, I read that these give more adjusting options, I will let you know when I get them all installed.
I have a question. I have a '11 Armada 4x4 Platinum which I recently purchased. When I drive over anything even at low speed (train tracks for example) the whole of the back of the vehicle shakes like it's about to fall apart. I don't want a lift or anything like that, but can you recommend decent parts I can buy to fix this issue?
There’s too many things that could be wrong for me to suggest anything, u need to have a professional inspect it.

How do you like the armada so far?
We love it so far, its had the standard issues with the brake switch and battery charging system but thats pretty basic for me so i still think its great. I can see how most people that aren't mechanically inclined would complain though.
And how tall is the lift ?
I didn't get accurate measurements but its around 3-4 inches

We dont have any Patrols here in the US so sadly we cant say for sure if they will fit. All i can say is that they do look the same.

What iron man kit did you buy?
We got their foam cell shocks with the heavy springs in the front and standard weight springs in the rear.

It's from Dash Offroad in Australia. Nisstec in Colorado imported some a couple years ago but it looks like they are not doing it anymore unfortunately.
