A compilation of Doug Baldwin's career highlights. Born in Gulf Breeze, Florida, Doug played college football at Standford for 4 years. After going undrafted, he signed with the Seattle Seahawks where he became a fan favorite. The always vocal Baldwin played with tremendous grit and determination and made his mark in the NFL during his 8 year career.

you did a really good job at editing this video someone should hire you.
thx
I'm always going to be watching in the first few hours of upload
Agreed. Good edits, music aint over powering, and its nicely pieced together
Baldwin was super underrated, he was also super good at getting open
yea man he was my fav wr
His route running was amazing
Yea and Tyler Lockett
And balance too.
Imo I liked Tyler and Doug better than DK and Tyler DK been pissing me off recently
Dougs one of my all time fav receivers... such a dawg.. luv how he clapped back at deion and cc 🤣🤣🤣
I still wear his jersey on Blue Friday, even though he's retired. He'll always be my favorite player.
one of the best route runners to play the game.
The nice thing is since he never played for anyone else the jersey is never going to get outdated.
Hell yeah.
bruh same!
My all time favorite Seahawk receiver. Baldwin, Largent, then Lockett. All relatively little guys, too.
ya doug was a beast! did u see the doug baldwin story video i dropped a couple days ago?
I will check it out
DK has a chance to be someone superlative by the way
Remember Joey Galloway? Darryl Turner?
Of course Darryl Jackson oughta be mentioned
And Bobby Engram
@@jhamler1 Brian Blades man.....4 1000 yard seasons as a Seahawk, which we haven't had many guys do in franchise history.
"Naw I don't have a chip on my shoulder, ive got a Boulder on my shoulder" Legit underrated. Angry doug was a dangerous doug
So many of Dougs catches were contested, and from a non primary throwing team, they should open a new category in Canton for him. He had elite speed which he only had a few opportunities to show off. There were only a few db's with the speed to catch him when he was moving full out. Set the record fro the most tds over the smallest amount of games. Just always broke my heart to know he wasnt going to get thrown to all the time. Tell you all, Doug Baldwin was a true Champion and Proved his skill on the field. Thanks man, i think this is the best DB video so far.
Wish he would come out of retirement and play with Lockett and dk
I do as well but I don’t at the same time. Yeah it’d be lethal to have those three on field at the same time, but he gave his body to the team city and state and I don’t want him to comeback. Hope he’s enjoying retired life and it’s treating him right
Injuries... watch my doug baldwin story video i made 1 mth ago
@@ClasherSports I just think its ridiculous josh Gordon hasn't been reinstated cuz dorsett hasn't played and David moore is inconsistent we need a 3rd option
I dont mind moore.. hes done ok as a 3rd option... but ya josh needs to get baxk asap.. im worried the nfl might be done with him tho
@@ClasherSports yeah we should have tried to get John Ross involved in that dunlap deal somehow see how russ plays with Ross his speed would be great for special teams but for pass rush we should trade reed he is ok but idk I feel like we should trade him and get picks and get Quinen Williams frees up alot of cap to wont happen ik but we have snacks and poona plus lj slides inside idk I just think we need money
Love you db ! You will always be missed in seattle. And will always be remembered
its so obvious the seahawks are the most underrated team
Tbh it's the Steelers
@@maddengoat1481 not really thay got lots of credit when they where good in the 2000's
@@maddengoat1481 nah Steelers actually get credit here and there
I think it’s the Titans and im a packers fan
Hbu the falcons
Doug Baldwin will always be my favorite receiver, got to grow up watching him play every Sunday , and some Mondays and Thursdays. Such a consistent threat against anyone
I miss him so much. I became a Seahawks fan because of Steve Largent. I became a fanatic because of Baldwin and Sherman. Thank you to the men of Stanford. I loved watching you two play. Thanks Doug...be well.
DB was a real one.. one of my fav receivers.. scrappy fella ... i actually did a doug baldwin story on his football career a few weeks ago... check that out
Your edits are really good. Maaan, i don’t know who do I miss most in the Seahawks: Doug or Kam
thank you! appreciate the kind words.. Deandre Hopkins coming next...............
100% dope edit.. I like the background commentary adding to the story
I agree, and I’d say Doug. Kam was a beast but Doug was the perfect guy for Russ on those scrambles
I’ll never forget his play style, was never the fastest guy but his routes and toe drag was top tier some of the best in the league with those hands too 🔥
DB89
Gave us a lot of happy moments! Awesome WR
LOVE and MISS YOU, Angry Doug!
Definitely one of my favorite wr to ever play the game, extremely underrated
One of the more noticeable things in these highlights is how many of those catches are on Baldwin and not Wilson. The ball is thrown so far over the WR's head a lot of times and Baldwin does a very impressive job actually getting hold of them and staying inbounds.
Man Dougie never got enough credit. He's in my opinion one of the best receivers ever. So many of his catches are just good hands. You'd think Russ could chuck that ball backwards and somehow Doug has it.
I miss seeing 8️⃣9️⃣ on the field. Doug always looked to my like a spring on the field - boing, boing, any which way at any time!
⚡️Clasher rocked this video! Great intro! 🎬
Thanks pal! Did u check out the doug baldwin story video i dropped earlier in the week?
Awesome. I love what your doing with player features. 🏆
Look up the word clutch in the dictionary...says see Doug Baldwin...been a Seahawk fan since '76...this dude was money.
such a freaking underrated WR Baldwin was insane his rout running was so good
he was an insane route runner, insanely good catcher, he was strong, man couldn’t be stopped
My ma was his teacher at Oriole Beach Elementary. His ma worked at my doctor’s office.. she was a saint. Played some Peewee football with him. A truly humble individual and never met anybody nicer than him.
I miss watching Doug play. Love love the guy.
doug is a prime example of earning respect, glad i saw this video !
Missing Doug Baldwin! This guy was dynamite! And you can tell Russell really trusted him; Made for some amazing plays.
Miss Doug Baldwin man my favorite a Seahawk legend for me. I enjoyed watching him play I can understand why he retired though. Hope he's doing well outside of football.
He was something special
this was nice bro that shit was well put together
thx
Dougie....My favorite Seahawk since Steve Largent! Miss watching him play...GO HAWKS!
Doug never got the credit he deserved. Elite route running, great hands, and a fantastic feel for the game. Had we (the Seahawks) been a more pass heavy team during his tenure, i truly believe he would have been considered among the elite receivers in the league
Doug was an incredible player, much better player than he gets credit for. I can't help but believe that a lot of what made Wilson such a good QB so quickly was having Doug to throw to! I 'm so impressed how this young man matured into the guy he is today. We who live in Renton could not ask for a better neighbor. He is always doing something in the community and we appreciate it. Baldwin for mayor anyone?
He’s my brother and this is amazing
You’re brother is rlly Doug Baldwin?? If so, thats awesome hes my favorite player ever
7:20 people do not talk about this catch enough
that one handed catch was sick... and it was whipped by russ
And it was colder than a witches T*t.
I
One of the greatest quotes in NFL history.
We aight, okay, we going to the superbowl again being aight
one of my fav receivers...
From that Championship game on, Doug really got worlds better. To bad he got hurt, he was honestly one of the best route runners and pure hands catchers there for a few years. I love when you can point to a game that literally changed a player to be better. Malcom butler comes to mind too.
Clutch. Surest hands in the NFL. Glad he was on our side!
Ty locket is good and all but Doug was in another level.
nice video bro
One of the best WR when the QB is scrambling. I love the way he runs. He looks like he’s putting it into the next gear but during the whole time.
Great video man!
I miss Baldwin, I hope the Seahawks bring him in to teach his route running to the rookies bacause he's one of the best route runners to ever be on the field! #GoHawks
No matter how highly and how often you speak of Doug Baldwin he'll always be underrated he's the Steve Largent of my time might be even greater
Great video. DB surpassed Largent as my favorite Seahawk receiver of all time...too bad you didn't include any of the action of his home GAME against the Steelers though 🤔
Dude got to hand it to you. Edits are good, music isn't UNNECESSARILY LOUD, kept the actual audio from the games. Love the video and definitely miss our angry pedestrian receiver.
Gah I miss the Baldwin/Wilson days. Doug was criminally underrated!
YEAH WE AIGHT
Luxury for Russ having DB who is so great at getting open quick. He was our 3rd down go to master in Seattle
I miss this Seahawks type of football this team was fun to watch
criminally underrated
What an awesome video
✌
Miss this guy
Him and Kam are the 2 i miss the most...
one of the best pure receivers the game has seen
SO UNDERRATED
12s miss Doug Baldwin. Never forget how nasty his release off the line was.
Baldwin is a dawg. He burned Josh Norman and Xavier Rhoades in their prime. Just throw it to him and he’ll catch it.
Definitely deserves to be in HoF.
Shout out to Kearse, great duo
I bet Doug Baldwin wishes he was with chef Russ right now
Russ would average 5 touchdowns a game.
The comnection Russ had with his recievers. My god I miss this team so much.
Doug was an elite route runner
Sanders the worst commentator on NFL network. Would never take away his game or physical talent. But you can always tell the dudes who ride their physical talent vs the dudes that work for it
I agree.. his commentating i always felt was terrible.. his analysis too
Could you imagine dk Metcalf Doug Baldwin and tyler and jermaine kearse
So sad we didnt have this offensive style when we had Baldwin
I miss Doug Baldwin he was the best player it's sad he had to retire because of the injury and before he retired I was able to buy his #89 Jersey.
0:25
baldwin: freaking out and stuff
Russell Wilson: chill as ice.
Was he mad at Russell
@@mylesdrayton6757 I think he was but he's extremely passionate about the sport and I bet he apologized after or something.
funny how insanely good the connection was between Doug and Russ when I'm pretty sure Doug disliked Russ so much
Every small upcoming young wide reciever should watch doug baldwin and tyler locket
I love how Doug always got mad at Russ for some shit he didn’t do right it’s what Russ needed these past seasons he hasn’t been his best
Arguably one of the greatest undrafted free agents ever
That attitude is payless
I hope Prime Time back tracked on those “pedestrian” WR comments cause Doug Baldwin was a phenomenal wide receiver
I think that because doug and jermaine, heck even golden tate weren't high drafts picks and all were barely over 6ft tall (jermaine was like 6'1 and doug and golden were about 5'10 or so) they were looked over sooooo much. During that time tho seattle also had beastmode so they were more of a run first team. But when they did throw the ball, golden, doug and jermaine made some clutch catches. Now tyler lockett is becoming just like Doug. Lockett ain't talked about a lot but when the ball is thrown his way, he makes clutch plays.
Miss this guy, he'd still be a star, imagine lockett, Metcalf, and Baldwin. Lethal

Seattle needs this dude back. He is still a free agent on fantasy. If that were true then we should take him back.
one of my fav receivers
0:52. That's actually hillarious
What’s the name of the song in the beginning of the video
Angry Doug Baldwin..
I will forever be haunted by the fact I never got a Baldwin jersey
From undrafted to unstoppable
Song that starts at 4:34
What's it take to get a players' number retired... I think Baldwin deserves that... He was one handing fourth down clutch plays in many of our wins.
He reminds me of Chad Johnson with his quick feet
My dad says I play like this guy because I’m not the fastest or the strongest or the tallest but I’m quick and great at route running.
I legitimately think he was a better player than either Wes Welker or Julian Edelman. He didn't play in a system that was directly suited to his skillset, and he could absolutely have been a feature player in a system like those Broncos and Patriots teams used to run.
Respectfully he was a poor man’s Steve Smith. Definitely super underrated and tough asf
Greatest receiver ever
Doug Baldwin needs to be in the Hall of Fame, to all the Haters, the 12's say "Eat it".
I miss him on the field, his leadership and enthusiasm, anger at all the detractors and doubters.
Hes not a hofer but i hope he gets honored some way by the seahawks.. ring of honor..
Percy called him tough Doug
Baldwin would easily be top 5 in the league today
Google This. 89 DB.
Imagine if he was on a higher volume passing team during his time in the NFL. I mean look at how Golden Tate did when he left the Seahawks.
bro doug baldwins story porves UDFA can be stars to
put this man back on madden
Switch swing pitch ads
Underestimate the receivers too DAMN MUCH
He really flamed Deion
Russel Wilson isn't making magic, Doug was. Now lockett is. Russ runs looks up sees his guy wide open and gets the credit. Nah Doug did that. 3rd down in the clutch it's going to Doug. Take it to the bank. He always came through. You start to wonder why he didn't get triple covered in those situations. No one in the league was better.
Imagine Baldwin Lockett and Metcalf
