    Many of the tools you show are instantly recognisable to me, and I have used many on projects over my lifetime.
    I very much enjoyed the few minutes listening to you detail their history and uses.

    As a joiner and my dad was it is always a pleasure to see these old tools those two brass backs tenant saws l have the same l do use them but not often l have all my dad’s old tools which I do still use every day 😊

    Absolutely wonderful, second of your videos that I've watched so far. I just checked my plumb bobs upstairs and have a Monument one amongst them, I bought a Shetack lead knife only a couple of weeks ago. When I was a BR apprentice we had to make a clamp and the two mating surfaces had to be scrapped to 90%blue!

    Your knowledge of British tool arcana is encyclopedic and impressive... occasionally I run across British made hand tools in the States...I'll be keeping my eye out for these names. Thanks for the video.
