One thing buyers should take into account when looking at machinery its the availability of workshop manuals on these machines, unlike some manufacturers out there kubota have all the information available so people can fix their equipment without any hassles it seems, I would buy a kubota any day based on this alone.

What is the next size down excavator that kubota make? Also how wide is the tracks from the outside of one to the outside of the other track?

Next size down is a kxo60 or u57,about 6 1/2 ‘ wide.5.5 to 6 ton class.
