If all zebra and other prey animals learnt group defence tactics like this then the lions would starve to death or be forced onto a vegetarian diet and have to go foraging.
The first zebra was obviously not an adult. The second one that chased the lioness off was probably the mother. Also that lion sustained a leg injury from the zebra attack as evidenced from the severe limp it had at the end of the footage. If a bone in its leg was broken, it won't survive.
