I think a lot of people underestimate how dangerous giraffes can be. Like when most people think of dangerous animals they think of the stereotypical lion or hippo or whatever. Giraffes are for real man, I would NOT wanna get kicked by a giraffe or hit by it's neck

Love this vid, most of the time we saw weaker animals chased and mauled by those big cats, so it's good to watch victims fought back for their lives.

its not about being stronger....its how smart they are.
The predator prey balance can swing either way. Attacking something that might just fight back desperately for it's life puts the predators at grave risk. You will also make yourself extremely unpopular with just your mere presence and don't even need to be hunting to be attacked. It's a jungle out there. Literally.

Lions dont live in jungle but yet they are king of the jungle. I guess they work remotely
predators hunt based on how hungry they are, prey fight based on how much they want to live.
thats why you can sometimes scare off predators, because you just have to make them look for an easier meal.
but if a prey animal (usually you can tell because their eyes are on the sides of their head) is big enough to stomp you if it feels threatened, it definitely will.
Living in South Africa and being able to experience these things in real life is such a blessing!

Payback? Satisfying? Lions and other predators are trying to survive so there’s no reason to take it personally. Besides, they cull the herds of the weak, old and sick. This helps keep herds healthy & the numbers manageable. Lions miss their target far more often than they succeed in a kill. Payback has nothing to do with this.

Fun fact, Bears were originally named "King of Beast" since they are scientifically the largest, bulkiest land carnivores. But due them being hunted almost to extinction back then, their name was given to the Lion for it's looks, and even if the Lion isn't as strong as many other carnivores, it had the mighty look of a king.

No creatures big or small have it easy in the wild. The only reason we call lions king of the jungle, is because of their regal good looks, especially adult male Lions. All big cats are beautiful creatures, and win on our vanity driven mentality.
