    "Bernardo Faria is a 5x World Champion. Bernardo started training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Juiz de Fora - MG, Brazil at the age of 14 in 2001.       @@Koko161081 if you actually search "best bjj competitors/fighters ever" he is not commonly included in these lists despite being such a strong bjj competitor then going on to become a mma champion on top of that

    12:40 there's a brief moment when bernardo's wrist isn't controlled, allowing just enough space to escape. it isn't shown here, but should i assume rafael slides the right arm over to minimize space? would it also be wise to get his left arm deeper to control bernardo's wrist just long enough to put the right arm where it needs to be? that's a small detail i learned from watching a buchecha instructional and i think it would be very effective in aiding this submission.
    i'm still a noob, so i need to ask

      Exactly he is showing this move for camera angle, but it would be much tighter and with chest shoulder pressure for added stickiness in trapping the wrist going over and essentially tightening up a knot, Its a free instructional but the real move isnt technically shown
