I snapped some cheap folding pedals not putting my foot on them the right way. I don't recall if they're counterweighted like the Brompton pedals so they flip the right way, but either way... I think I'm done using folding pedals. I'll probably pick up some quick-remove pedals in the future instead.

      Hi Cruiser
      Well remembered!
Pedaling with the other side, it will probably make a wrong force on the lever and break with time.
Nice to have you on board!

Hi Chris ,i wonder is it because you are left handed that you like to use this approach or does it just come natural .
I find myself keeping my left foot on the ground and using my right foot to mount and start moving my Brompton ,now i will tryyour way as it sounds the right way to do it .Thank you Chris .love your channel ❤

      Hi Hanora Doyle
In Brasil we drive on the right side of the road, so slower vehicles must ride on the right side of the street. When I stop at the lights, I place my right foot on the curb and start pedaling with my left leg.

      Hi Brompton Owner
That is a very good upgrade.
      Great choice.
      How much lighter it is?

@Chris by Bike if you weigh your Brompton pedal then compare to other pedals you like removable or not, there you have it. In some situations it's so much easier to take them off, that's just my idea

      Hi Bromptin Owner
The new T Line comes with removal pedal to take some weight out.
Nice to have you on board!

I prefer to start with the right pedal and it doesn't self-right like the left one will, requiring you to make sure its oriented properly before getting going again or you'll end up slipping when you push down on the narrow end of the peddle. Not good.

      Hi B. Griffin317
That is some thing to be careful about it.
