As a Dane I expected to take my 2019 Brompton on travels, so I at once ordered a solid and very robust, German B&W Luggage box, intended for a Brompton bike and with the claimed US "travel control locks" and an extra band around for extra security! It must be named that it only takes a standard size saddle pin or the very heavy telescope version, unless the pin is removed from the bike before packing. But if a titanium pin with an integrated saddle mount, it is possible to just take it out from the top, without the security ring in the bottom!

I was asked at the counter and I just said it’s a folding bicycle. As long you meet the proper weight and size requirements for the luggage.
