How did you get to $250,000 for an alta? That's some creative math.
James Allred the craft and all the support systems add up to over 250k. Monstro was $85k when he bought it. Add the RED accessories and memory cards (over $30K). Terradeck, wireless follow focus, Zeiss CP3, ground monitors, MōVI Pro, MōVI controller, and much more. You may not understand that the bigger drones have a lot more than just the aircraft frame to create an image.
I'm very familiar with the system which is why I'm asking. You are way, way, way, way over estimating.

Adrian Arias I spite 2 is not 5 grand, it’s 2500 with no gimbal or camera, then you add 1000 or 2500 gimbal with your desired sensor, the x5 the xmuse7 then if you want to record proress and apple you need to dish up $1000 extra for the key to unlock that on the drone, then you need the professional remote and screen if you’re already filming at that level, and the red camera is even more expensive than the drone it was one I think lol with the manual focus set up and receiver and parts to attach it 😂 just a battery on the red is $1000 or more, ssds on the red is ridiculously priced over 1500 for like a 250 gig I think, I believe the price set up on the video

would you mind giving a quick description of how one gets into this industry? I would love to do high end cinematography with a drone. college drone class or do you just have to get good at it on your own through practice? thank you
Hard to beat a Inspire 2. I like the Alta line just expensive and time consuming to setup for what it is. Red is awesome again I get it’s Hollywood. But if DJI can put a 8k camera on a Inspire 2 and not make another drone to carry it. Just focus on the Inspire 2 frame. It will be king.

Background music with vocals can be perfectly fine and even very effective, *as long as* the vocals don't overlap with the dialogue.
I assume DJI has some good patents that make the Occusync 2.0/HD so solid that the Alta and other links don't want to pay for otherwise they make their own consumer drones and blow DJI out of the water so they stay out. The problem is, the problems you were facing.
What are you talking about that rig didnt cost 250k? The red is 50k & the alta 8 is 18k what are you talking about 250k?
The Red Monstro is much more expensive. And all the lenses, the Movi, the ground station etc. add up as well. So 200-250 grand makes sense.

The inspire 2 is like $3000 and I doubt the other one is 250,000 bud
$3000 without the camera, extra controller, and extra batteries, bud. The X5S camera alone is $2000.
The super professional cameras are tens of thousands of dollars lmao. Welcome to the world of multi-million/billion dollar commercial business.
The inspire 2 is actually 20k fully loaded if you want all the high end shit

the flight controller cost less than $200.. and they probably use a motor equivalent to tmotor U13 which cost less than 400 a piece.. i can't see it worth $18000
So the more expensive the less flight time, a mini has more flight time lol
X7 with the lenses is the way to go.. it's movie level. so add another $6k
Even if I could afford one the amount of headache maintaining and rigging such as setup for Every flight would totally suck ass but if you have that kind of money to work w/ w/o any issue you can just pay people to do it for you but if they miss something from not being very meticulous, you are fucked. Basically, leave it to the Pros to create the videos for you and if you want to fly in the air for fun just get the Inspire 2 but you can't really backpack it so the Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 is the optimal choice as the Mavic 2 Pro does not even use the full 1" sensor.

Because the inspire is professional for most people. The Alta is like movie level equipment but costs so much more.

for professional TH-camrs/vloggers etc inspire is a high lvl drone.. but for Hollywood seems like a toy it's true..
