Here in Memphis, TN I don't have the Humidity like you do in the Philippines, so my Vanda's get a soak every day for 1 hour. Our daytime Temps average 90 degrees most of the Summer... so I might need to add an afternoon hose-down ?.. Just concerned over staying wet once the Sun sets, knowing that's not good for Vanda's. I alternate between Organic fertilizers (Fish Emulsion, Kelp, Bat Guano) and commercial plant foods (Miracle Grow, Cal-Mag) Mine are in wood baskets with lump charcoal & Lava Rock.
*Straps Vanda just hang like this.for me it's soak my Vanda alertnate .every other you can do like this..and we are using fertilizer which is 20-20-20*
Hello ma'am. I got myself Vanda top cuts and potted them in hanging baskets with charcoal. Water them twice day by hose. But I see some of the roots is starting to turn yellow brown and shriveled. How do I fix this?

*Hello kumusta..gamit ko is Ultraplus,if not available Naman sa area nyo pwedi ka din buy 20-20-20, at Mas ok na less fertilizer kaysa nasobrahan Ang fertilizer Kasi mamamatay Ang Orchids pag over fertilizer.for me 1Tbsp in every 2 liters of water.*

. Sabi ng seller ganito dn dapat mag water sa vanda.. From gray roots turns to very greeny yung ugat nila..

Yes...once a week I used this process. Not everyday..
