This week me and my cameras are in the highlands of Scotland taking photos in Glencoe. I take in the cottages, Buachaille Etive Mòr, Kilchurn, Stalker and Glencoe Lochan in my quest to get 10 landscape photos. I also get eaten by midges...

Yes! Loving that as well! I know that Adam Gibbs does the same thing, and it really puts into perspective what the images are supposed to look like straight from camera, vs the amount of effort put into processing.

Proud owner here of a signed print of that classic white cottage (at the 11:53 mark). It's one of my favourite photo purchases; I had it framed and matted under museum quality glass. Only the finest would do for a real James Popsys original. Fun video with your return to the site - this time with your new Sony gear. Keep up the great work.

We've planned a two month trip to Scotland, England and Wales later this year. Your videos are inspirational, and helping us with our own YT content. Please keep up the good work! Any suggestions for a few stops in England, Wales or Scotland to photograph nature in Scotland--particularly less-travelled areas.

I rather like the fact that you transform some greens to warmer colors. For me, too much green is redundant and borders on boring. The introduction of different shades can give an image a more complex and interesting feel.

I always enjoy your dry self deprecating sense of humour in your videos. You do take great landscape photos, especially your choices in composition. I saw you pd travel tripod frequently in todays video but you were never using it to take a photo. I myself have the same carbon fiber model and find it great to take steady shots. Recently bought a carbon fiber gimbal to use with it and a monopod, when my camera and lens are balanced properly it's a beautiful experience being able to freely swing the camera to almost any inclination and azimuth instantly to get the shot I want. I bought the monopod for situations that a tripod is impractical to get the footing. The monopod is actually a video monopod, where you can take the head off the collapsible shaft and the shaft off the tiny tripod heads and put the head on the tripod feet to make a tiny tripod. Put a ball head on that and you've got a great mini tripod. Give that I can extend the monopod to 71" high, I can get some unique shooting angles, that I can't necessarily get steady shots from. I can also use the monopod as a boom arm for a video mic.
