Tips from a Frenchman if you want to visit Paris:
    1) Subway is gross but pretty effective when you get the grip of it.
    2) You can rent a bike easily and the city is more and more bike-accessible, because Paris is so concentrated, you can hardly be anywhere more than 30mins biking to any other place in Paris.
    3) National museums are free on every first sunday of the month (old tradition). They are free if you are under 18 (just show an ID), and if you're born in the European Union, it's still free until you're 26.
    4) Don't go in any restaurant near Notre-Dame de Paris, they're all tourist traps. All of them.
    5) Always start a conversation with "bonjour", even if you don't know another word of French and start speaking english immediately after. It's a mark of respect and a way of saying "I'm acknowledging you as another human being" in our culture, I promiss it will make every interection 100% more satisfying.

I really want to visit france but as a muslim I'm slightly worried about how i may be recieved. However, i am aware social media inflates things so i would love to hear from an actual french person about the safety, atmosphere and genersl treatment towards Muslim tourists. Thanks!

@@kritakhatun Hi there! Our french média went into an anti-muslim rant last year during election time, so the racism level is quite high for France, but it doesn't really affect tourists. It's more like discrimination in the workplace for french muslims, but I've never heard about violent actions recently. More importantly, there is a strong touristic industry in France, so everyone in hostels and restaurants will be professional. For everyone else, just say 'bonjour' and 90% of the hostility you may encounter will be resolved.

30 euros for a dormitory bed..
In the morning buy some fresh baked bread in the local convenience store or a supermarket and try french onion soup with it which costs around 10 to 12 euros.
Most of the city you can walk and if not get a whole day pass for another 30 euros.
For lunch go to turkish kebab place and order a kebab plate or a doner kebab and a drink which can cost you 10 euros..
In the evening come to the Eiffel tower and get a glass of wine or beer within 20 euros or you can have amazing desserts there.. some cafe named eclairs is famous there.
And in the evening you can find a lot of varieties of street food and roam again in the city and be back to your room before 12 am.
You can plan in less money too if you are willing to pay less..

340 euros is on the higher end of what you need.
If you are on a tighter budget, you can stay at hostels farther from the city center and they are much cheaper. You can then use public transit to get to where you want. Hostels are around 30-40 euros per head per day depending on if it is shared or private accommodation. Also hostels have a kitchen and you can cook your own food to make it even more affordable. Of course with hostels you compromise on cleanliness and comfort.
If you are a student, many places have student discounts for transit and museum entrances, and you can save more money.
I would say you can survive on 50 euros a day in Paris, this includes only food, accommodation and transit within the city.

Spend on ice cream and crossiants 10 euro. Hostel can be really cheap but you can easily cover in 150 euro(without attractions)

@@deepikabhatt4713 The recommendations are just the places based on my exp. If you would like to explore closer to Eiffel try Novotel Paris Centre Tour Eiffel. This is within walking distance with a view of the Eiffel if you step outside the hotel. Rooms will be just fine and not much luxury but walking distance to the Statue of Liberty( the French one), train station and shopping spots. We did visit Disneyland with a young kid so we decided to stay near Disneyland and we think its the right choice as Disneyland needs a full day and lasts until 10 PM- I would recommend Mariott's Village near Disney which has a shuttle to Disney. They do offer full villas which works out cheaper if you add net costs. We used this stop as a place to wash our clothes, and do our own cooking in the property while enjoying a relaxed stay in the property.

You need to save on your hotel..Not too far from Effel tower and you save a lot...Excluding hotel: you trip is just 75 euro per day for food..Get a apartment with kitchen (there are many) and you can save further...Unless you are super rich or money doesn't matter to you for any reason.

15 euros for orange juice and 2 viennoiseries?! lol, I'm french but glad I don't live in Paris, they are just steeling from local hipsters and clueless tourists. I'm from a big city but here it would be like 6 euros max.

    • @victoriagossani8523
      @victoriagossani8523 ปีที่แล้ว

15€ was for two people, so 7,50€ for one, not so expensive for Paris. On the table you can see that's she takes an orange juice and he takes something that's looks like a chaï (he is Indian, that's why I supposed it) and a croissant and a pain au chocolat. So if they paid something like 2€ each viennoiseries that let the orange juice and the chaï for 11€, perhaps 6€ for the orange juice and 5€ for the chaï.
In my (cheap) village in France it could cost 10€.
But in Delhi I can have a (delicious green) orange juice with a pan cake for 1€, 10, and a cup of chaï in the streets for less than 0,10€...

Indians follow Anglo Saxons i.e Royalty n Luxury
You won't see them into Airbnbs, Metro or Ikea stores
n also less in France, bcos its not safe n doesnt look like most of Europe
