Wonderful tutorial! I'll need to see where I can find honesty seeds in U.S.
I've never seen these before here in Texas.

I was about to say the same...not sure I've ever seen them in Texas or when I lived in California either to think about it; hm

The Latin name is Lunaria Annua. I wonder if you can buy seeds online to grow some for next year, or I can send you some seeds 😀

@@janechippart yes, when i was researching i saw its also known here as the "money" 🤑 plant. So I may b able to find at an Asian market? If not I did find where I can order online and its not expensive. 🤗 thank you for the offer though! ❤

Ive never tried tissue paper, however I’ve photocopied on TRACING paper before. The result is absolutely stunning as well! It’s equally as lovely as using velum. In fact, you can do a bit more with tracing paper. The tracing paper doesn’t require glue as it’s a bit more sturdy. It becomes sheer w mod podge as well. It adds an interesting texture thats delicate & transparent but more durable in a journal.
I’ve used the tracing paper lay over another page to alter the imagery of the page beneath. Ex: Print a rain shower or storm (“any weather”) on the tracing paper. Partially attach it to a scenic page of ephemera. When combined w the solid image of the scene beneath it, it appears to be raining and muted. Obviously after you flip the tracing paper, the scene becomes bright & clear beneath it.
That example is a bit elementary, but you really achieve an artistic as well as poetic beauty w it.
I’m in love s your seed head usage! If only KANSAS, had any. Do you have any clever tricks for wheat heads? Your creativity is on another level..

That's so kind thank you Natalie. I love working with any sort of transparent paper, the creative possibilities are endless! I haven't done anything yet with wheat heads though I have been thinking about it as I wander around the fields near my home!
