Thanks for making the files public! Still sorting out my Honda Beat Audio. I have the dashboard mounted speakers, which have not been working. There are no 1-to-1 replacement to be found, yes diameter is a normal 2.5 inch but they are only 2 cm deep. Trying the Visaton FRS 7 as a replacement but it looks like drilling in the dashboard is needed. There are already wiring and mounting holes, so the dash is already swis cheese. Also sorting out the CD player, the head unit only blinks all the 6 CD's but doesn't want to start playing. Already have a replacement Clarion CDC634 but this has the same issue, think it might be the head unit. :( You sharing the 3d file has given me at least an option, thanks again! I saw your rack on the back being black and have followed you in this and had it powder coated last week, much better fitting colour for a red Beat with black accents!
I don't really like the rack to be honest and I definitely won't ever use it. Looks better in black than chrome for sure. Might take it off at some point to see how it looks.
I've hyro dipped parts in the past and the finish was brilliant, not a bad price either. All sorts of finishes, patterns etc. Love a bit of the carbon look ;-) Dipworx (Formely Aqau Print). Over beside finglas. I'd dip the whole center section. You could probably give it a go at home
Maybe paint the 3D printed surround gloss black or anthracite grey. It will be nearly impossible to match it to the other plastics and but it will tidy it up a bit.
Jazda, love the car. Very clean. I just acquired one in the states. Do you have a part number for the center speaker trim? I can't find any other reference to it or to the beat having a woofer option?
I'm trying to install one of these marine head units in my beat, do you have a diagram for wiring the head unit to the harness? How did you figure out which wires go where?
Sounds great when you're stopped at a traffic light, but as soon as you get on the move the wind and tyre noise drown out most of the sound, so ideally you'd need a separate subwoofer... or come to terms with the fact that stereos in convertibles are never going to sound good on the move!
6ft. No head rubbage on the soft top but I never drive it with the top up - it's much noisier in the cabin and defies the whole point of owning a convertible!

Best of luck with your own audio adventures!

Definitely don't like a gloss finish. Will live with the unpainted surface and see how I like it before making a plan.

No sorry, I don't have a part number for the sub or trim. Head to the Beat Facebook groups and someone should be able to help.
Thanks these cars r dope

I got an adapter loom to connect to the Honda connectors. Details in the video.
Great video! How does the new stereo set up sound??

Just out of curiosity how tall are you? Does your head rub the soft top when it’s down?

Speaker size?
6.5-6.75" =)
Leave it black, or paint everything.
Plastidip it
