Saw these lads in Liverpool - June 1990 - World Cup going on. We sang this for 25 minutes at the end until they came back out and sang it again. They and we were crying our eyes out. Brilliant. Brillant.Brilliant. Brilliant. Brilliant.
This band should have been way bigger than they were. They achieved great status on their homeland continent, but they should have been bigger here in the US...favorite band of alltime for this Wisconsin guy.
When Tim Booth came offstage after this show, they had to give him oxygen. He worked his butt off that night, under difficult circumstances. Loads of punters at that show had to abandon their cars and walk three or four miles in freezing weather. Which just makes it even more amazing.
WELCOME to the fraternity of James fans! They are my all time FAVE band in the world....I've seen them 66 times and counting lol..the first time was on my 18th birthday in 85 supporting the smiths. Check out sometimes, come home, laid, seven, out to get you, lullaby, hey ma, and ooooooooooooooh the list goes on and on lol
Brings back all the memories of my time staying in Manchester back in 1991/1992. It was a wonderful time! Thank you James and thank you people of Manchester. I love you!
I´m 33 years old and i saw James sing this song live when i was 18. The ticket to their show was my 18 year´s gift and what a gift it was! The first part of the concert was made by Radiohead. It was a 2 in 1 show.
Absolutly awesome song....the crown reaction at the end is electric, gave me goosebumbs all over just hearing it. This is a must for the volume to be turned up!! 5/5 for James!

I don't know if Tim Booth had written such poetry, but he did. This song makes me cry.
