I LOVE the ARRIVAL choruses, the voices of Agnetha and Frida sound like angels...Mike Olfield fell in love with this piece and released his own versión as a single...Thanks Dereck, even if you didn't give tour approval, I think It has necessary your reaction...
Hi from New Zealand, the first time I heard Arrival was on a album by The Royal Scots “In Concert Mood” in 1980 I was 12. It started off with different instruments, then it ramped up with the pipes & drums, it was absolutely beautiful. I didn’t know it was a ABBA song until I heard it in the 1990s on the album Arrival. Thank you so very much mate, for sharing this video. Welcome back ABBA!
I always have this beautiful piece of music in my head when I'm on a ferry from Tallinn to Stockholm. When a ferry is nearing Stockholm, there are all those beautiful small islands slowly passing by, and it feels exactly like this tune. Another great instrumental from Benny is of course Intermezzo No1.
Yes indeed ..great that you made this as your wedding march ...perfect...Previously I imagined this a bride walking and marching at the aisle to her wedding ...Wonderful scenario ...🤩😁😊💛💙💖 Glad that you did it...🤗🤗🤗😊😊😊
A separate piece of information Your double reaction to the two new ABBA songs is very close to reaching 100,000 views and more than 1000 comments In these last two weeks many 'opportunists' appeared to make reactions to the two new ABBA songs (some are even pathetic and appear to get excited) That is why it is fair to emphasize that You were always faithful and convincing, and that double reaction was also true and Your surprise and emotion showed, that is why there are many of us who follow you here and you deserve it Big and strong hug from my city and country, Buenos Aires (Argentina)
Hey Dereck - I love how the vocals fade in - I think it was a brave decision to include something folk inspired on the Arrival album - they obviously loved it so much they named the album after it - maybe a reminder to the world " yes we are proud to be Swedish " - I always feel very emotional when I hear it - it's so beautiful - I'm loving your reactions to Abba - thankyou - kindness from Sydney
The song is actually named after the album (and not the other way around) which is unusual, but also pretty cool and the name does fit the track really well.
No, no, no, Dereck, there are still four songs left on the Arrival album, you haven’t react to until now: „Dum Dum Diddle“, the studio version of „Why Did It Have To Be Me“, „Tiger“ and „Happy Hawaii“. And if you wonder why you have to react to the studio version of „Why Did It Have To Be Me“,though you already did the live version, I recommend you a double reaction with „Happy Hawaii“.
I like ""Happy Hawaii", but it always annoys me slightly that they sing the word "Hawaii" as it's pronounced in Swedish and not as it's supposed to be in English or in its original form. Singing the name properly wouldn't fit with the rhythm of the song.

Technically it *is* an instrumental since the vocals do not have any words and are not the prime focus of the music. It's a bit of an odd definition but it's the one that's generally accepted. I guess the definition is a recognition of the human voice being used 'as' an instrument.

THANK YOU SO MUCH ✌️🙋

Someone made some type of a mash up between this ABBA original and Mike Oldffield's on TH-cam, will try to find it and link it here. It's gorgeous!!!! This hymn has such a haunting, beautiful melody, it feels like it's bringing you back to what is important, essential in life. Norse and Celtic vibes do that to most of us but I know I deeply feel this, one reason I love Loreena McKennit so much with her blend of Celtic and Arabic sounds. Here's the mashup: th-cam.com/video/4L9PxixJbcI/w-d-xo.html

Daniel Balavoine a repris ce titre avec "Belle".
Et avant lui, Michèle Torr "J'aime" qui a été disque d'or.
There is also a version with Sara Brightman and with Gregorian with lyrics by Bjorn Ulvaeus
Please do react to Tiger, with video. Agnetha deadly serious driving a car, Frida riding shotgun and how hot she looks in that bandana! 💛
Sarah Brightman has recorded cover version of this with vocals Björn Ulvaeus wrote for Mamma Mia musical but were left unused.
THANK YOU SO MUCH ✌️🙋
The music in Heaven won’t be this good 😌
two french language vocal versions of this tune not already mentioned:

LA VALLEE by Petula Clark.

MIKE OLDFIELD wrote this song.....and ABBA made a very special version......listen to the original.....interesting!
Heavy Metal fans recognize that song from theband Ghost
Check out Benny’s Orchestra Band also has some great songs.
Check out frida and b.a. robertson - ""time" - Its awesome!
Most likely keyed fiddle. Not bag pipe
It is poly Moog with mini Moog and Mellotron overdubs
Mike Oldfield copied this song and it became a hit song for him. It has a celtish vibe. Beautifull song
Covered by Mike Oldfield. Who's the winner? Mike Oldfield had been really, really big in Germany in the 80s!
Il existe deux autres versions de Mike Oldfield et Michèle Torr.
Here's the mashup:

Next. You should react to the Gracias por La Musica Album
He has already react to some spanish ABBA songs. There are Hasta Mañana, Estoy Soñando, Felicidad and Chiquitita in his playlist.
You still haven't reacted to "When I Kissed The Teacher" which is literally the best song on the album.
He has already react to When I Kissed The Teacher.
@@Lisa-M It must be blocked then because I can't find it. Do you have a link to the reaction?
Hat er schon 😉
@@Lisa-M I looked at his ABBA playlist and found the reaction to it now 😌
@@rasul01 For me it wasn't blocked. I can try to put the link here, but unfortunately TH-cam always deletes my comments, when I put a link in it. It is no. 42 in his "ABBA Reaction Videos" playlist if you want to take a look. th-cam.com/video/CIR9zMyro0c/w-d-xo.html
