@@salemkid1979 In 1988 the opening to Crosswits had the voiceover introducing the contestants & celebrity guests with a longer version of the theme tune playing but in 1989 it was shortened & Tom O Connor introduced the contestants & celebrity guests, also the set had the programme name on the background in the 1988 series.

If ITV hadn't scrapped the frontcaps in 1988 then this edition of Crosswits would have had the Tyne Tees 'Flowing Rivers' ident before it.
So funny how he always walked on as though he'd just been hit with a surprise birthday party.
That is because Ed Welch did compose this theme music to Crosswits.
I miss Crosswits a lot
