Ayooooo this is the golden idea here where were you when I was thinking in my head of what to do with these passes 😂😂😂 this is such a sweet idea seriously
Cedar Fair is essentially taking over the company, simply just using the Six Flags name for the parent company. Plus Cedar Fair was the mashup of Cedar Point and Valleyfair! and they have had many properties beyond that for decades. So it makes sense.
Wrist bands are fine but, they need the scanners BEFORE fast pass enters the line. The scanners at the station slow things down with attendants simply watching them.. when they could've just seen the band personally and let them in.. yes downside of an additional person at the front... but all the rides that need fast lane already have an attendant at the front. All in all though... not a huge issue since the the rows get filled anyways
I agree theres definitely issues with how the bands are done too. Something will always pop up as an issue when implementing this stuff across 42 parks, i expect a lot of it to not go smooth at first lol
I hope they have an All-Season Pass for all the Parks. I am that one person who travels to both Cedar Point and Six Flags Great Adventure. Dorney Park and Kings Dominion are other parks I visit on the east coast.
Thankfully, Richard Zimmerman, formally of Cedar fair is in charge of this new company and no 1 from Six Flags. It goes without saying that cedar fair is saving six flags
Your park is neglected? Mine is too. My home park is SFoT. They never get anything good and it’s rundown looking. Food is just ok. There are a few rides that go down all the time. They need removed and replaced or renovated.
I don’t disagree but Michigans adventure has legit got some new trash cans, a snoopy renovation, and a walking path in almost 20 yrs lol its rough for both of us 😂 i think both of our parks deserve some good attention here
Fast Lane is for people who like a shorter line... Flash Pass is better for shorter waits with NO line. Try Great America and Cedar Point on a Saturday... Platinum Flash pass destroys Fast Lane. I can't tell you how many times I've walked all the way back to Maverick or Steel Vengeance only to find the Fast Lane line for Maverick out of the building and down the midway. That NEVER happens with Flash Pass at Great America...even on Fright Fest Saturdays. As far as phone usage goes, you barely have time to kill your phone battery using Flash Pass because you are much busier riding rides. With Fast Lane, you kill your phone while waiting in huge Fast Lane lines.
I’ve used both and did enjoy some of the perks of flash pass but its simply not as easy to implement across 42 parks but if they go flash pass trust me i’ll be using it alot lol. I liked both, just figured cedar fair seems to have the influence and being on the phone more at great america on my visits wasn’t fun i had to charge up 2 times in the car. I just hope whatever they do is a smooth transition honestly we both agree on wantijg the best outcome here
It would nice if they would give Six Flags Over Texas a new Coaster we so deserve. It has not gotten a new coaster in forever & Aquaman is not a coaster. Also build a new thrme park back in Houston to replace Astroworld, alot people I know get tired of having to drive to Arlington, or San Antonio to go to a theme park.
The press release clearly states they want to help Six Flags improve their properties. The original Six Flags parks will receive most of the investments. Cedar Fair parks will be left behind. This is how mergers work. O wonder which parks will be sold and or closed. I hope Hershend purchase Cedar Point and keeps its legacy. Michigan Adventure will be sold as well as probably 4 more parks.
I’m going to go on a limb and say 90% of this won’t come true. Michigans adventure is the most self sufficient park in the former cedar fair chain, they wouldn’t sell something that makes them money back without ever investing in it ever that’d be silly. Kings Dominion is building a coaster next season, canadas wonderland is so theres 2 cf projects right there in 25. I think you’re thinking of bad mergers and how those work - this could go wrong and you could be entirely right - what in idk lets say the last 10 years gives any thought that this will happen though? 20 years? 50? Both companies seemed to have figured it out time and time again, after every merger or successful buyout, after every time someone said they would fail or leave something behind… and yeah some parks have gotten neglected - bottom line is better to have a park to go to then lose a park (ask geauga lake friends or boblo island friends or six flags new orleans friends) nobody wants a park to be neglected but nobody wants a park to close either - lets hope they run this right and things get better, not that herschend buys things and this fails - wishing for failure is silly we like fun and coasters and parks and the potential ability to buy a pass to visit 42 parks thats unheard of. Enjoy it
Have been to the park one time this year cause I been having health stuff going on. More happening behind the scenes than y’all realize sometimes, can’t film what I can’t presently do. When we post these I always go “someones gonna say something about the b roll eventually” lol. We’ll be back end of July / start of August hopefully. Appreciate you sticking around until then suffering through clips you’ve seen 😂 i got a new camera trust me I want to film new stuff bad. We’ll be there for the haunt stuff and all the spooky time fun
19:11 How are they doing the passes? Are you going to be able to pay monthly for your season passes? Also I’m very very very upset that Six Flags or who ever got rid of the Model T Fords that the kids had fun sitting in their dads or moms laps to drive that’s a heartbreaker. For god sake keep the merry go round that’s a symbol of what six flags is supposed to be. Kids love that and me as an adult I love it and I haven’t gotten to take my niece to see it she’s 3 and she will love that ride. Oh stop taking away from the kids 😭
I'lll say it once and i'll say it again NO iRoc sure some of the operations at "some" six flags park are bad but why make them worst with iRoc implemented, I know some would argue that iRoc does work and keesp the lines moving and all the six flags parks need it to improve their operations, well then why do all the B&M coasters need seat belts when the have a perfect track record as if B&M arn't safe enought as they are? compared to the six flags parks raging bull at my home park for example never used seat belt my recent vist they were sending these train out I will admit they where slow but they carried on afterwards.
I would be happy if my home park, six flags st louis, should get sold and be left out of the all parks pass, since are park always gets negative reveiws. I have been going to six flags st louis as a kid. our park doesn;t get massive spending even when owned by six flags prior to merger. all our park ever gets is the bigger parks hand me downs, which I would say should last another ten years
I really hope that This six flags and Cedar fair merger Doesn't cause Cedar point to shut down like when Six flags took over Geauga Lake that would really really suck !! Not being negative but ya I'm praying this merger is a good thing and None of the parks shut down like Geauga Lake did ! I Love going to Cedar point I really do !!!
You keep talking about Six Flags only on how Cedar fair no longer exists. That is true. It's under the Six Flags name, but thankfully, the top executives of this new company are from Cedar fair. Look it up. They will bring the garbage of Six Flags up to the high standards. Of Cedar Point in king's island alike.... And there is no reason to take a moment of silence to remember, Cedar fare. And thankfully, the executives from Cedar fair own 51% of the stock, and that is why they are in control. That's why they are running this. They have not filed for bankruptcy. As Six Flags has all the Cedar, fair parks are definitely much more. Upscale than anything Six Flags has to offer, which is Y in the end. Cedar fair has saved Six Flags, even though now they are both merged together.
We did a video fully explaining this in great detail a few weeks ago, salim basoul is the only person of real extreme importance from six flags kept in a higher position.
Ik its still WAY too early to tell but im a little scared for SF Great america. It feels like its fallen out of the main eyes of the execs We havent gotten a coaster in 5 years which is pretty long for us while great adventure and magic mountain have gotten 2 (Wonder woman, Flash,WCR, and Jersey devil coaster) And them not getting a haunt is a little weird given the massive pull they would get here. I feel like theyre going to take investment money and attention that sfgam would get and put it towards the already established cedar fair parks I don't think its gonna drop off completely but i feel like great america is probably gonna get the red headed step child treatment out of the original six flags chain.
I was wondering why chicago didnt get the haunt stuff its such a massive area, my only reasoning is MAYBE cedar point has contracts for some ip haunt stuff too and six flags doesn’t want folks in the middle deciding between the two parks. Idk if that holds any weight but my guess is cedar point will get some ips at haunt this year too and thats probably why chicago got left out
@@GhosterCoasters totally..i dont necessarily think itll be a bad thing but "cedar fair" will be missed..."six flags" leaves a bad taste in my mouth sometimes
I was just thinking.....they should do a Cedar Fair Legacy Passport and a Six Flags Legacy Passport

I wish they would do an "Ohio" pass that includes both CP and Kings Island. I'm far too lazy to drive to all the other parks
Cedar Fair is essentially taking over the company, simply just using the Six Flags name for the parent company. Plus Cedar Fair was the mashup of Cedar Point and Valleyfair! and they have had many properties beyond that for decades. So it makes sense.
It's not a complete takeover. Certain positions have more from six flags or cedar fair. This isn't the same as a buyout
Another banger of a video! Ghoster Coaster gang! 🤟🏻🤟🏻🖤 what a time to be alive in the coaster community
You’re the best !!! Seriously though great time to be part of the community loving every minute
If this doesn’t result in a restored partnership between Intamin and RMC, then I see this as a loss.
Never mind that both companies have massive debt coming due and doing this merger to survive. Parks will do just fine without either Intamin or RMC
Wrist bands are fine but, they need the scanners BEFORE fast pass enters the line. Thankfully, Richard Zimmerman, formally of Cedar fair is in charge of this new company and no 1 from Six Flags. It goes without saying that cedar fair is saving six flags
True true
Who can fire Zimmerman? The board which Selim is the Executive Chairman of?
We need a new coaster at Michigans Adventure. Shoot ill even accept another relocated ride, but we need something.
Hopefully, Railblazer.
Hoping a single rail I want one close by
I bought one share in the new Six Flags. It's making money already. Anyway let's hope for the best.
I should have honestly
I’d love to see Looney Tunes at Cedar Point!

seeing as they’re planning on having offices in sandusky near cedar point, i imagine they plan on keeping it. of course that could change eventually
