Campground Review … Sunset State Beach Campground near Santa Cruz

The beach area is very nice, only complain about the campground is they don’t have individual restrooms and showers, it’s one of those old school shared restroom and shower facility. #camping #campground #Aliner #Review #Beach #Trail #Hike #Adventure

Cool video. My dad was born and raised in Watsonville and started camping here waaaaaaay back. Of course when I was born, Sunset was our go to spot, so I have camping here for YEARS! Back in the day (late 70's through to about 1989) the sites were much much better! Back then they allowed more tree and bush growth which kept almost every site super private. Now days it has become more of a parking lot. Sad really. The MOST sought after site is site 25. It is the ONLY site out of all 3 campgrounds that actually has an ocean view (small peekaboo view). I sure miss the way the campground used to look though. Anyway, nice video and hope you had fun!
