Yeah when I used to sit in bed and wish so hard to be 16 I thought I'd get up to all sorts of fun shenanigans but here I am writing a comment on some weird TH-cam video
*You feel someone watching you* "Hello?!" *a movement from the left, but a store gate slammed up with a loud bang* "HELLO?!?!" *A dark chuckle from behind* ... ... ... ... "I think you might want to run."
Depends. Years ago I had a job where I worked overnight in malls and shopping centers a lot. Some of them left the muzak running, others didn't. Someone's job was probably to make sure it's turned off and just forgot.
@@impinator-z4085 a lot of companies don't, because it just runs off the main power grid, I learned this because of working in Publix after closing and they open the doors to stores and the music is just on, kinda creepy if it's only like you and five other people in a massive store
Imagine is the end of the world and you’re the only person left. You’re standing inside of a mall where some of your best memories were made. You put on some music over the loudspeakers. You dance around and talk to people who aren’t there. It feels lonley but also free.
You know, this and your "Everybody Wants To Rule The World but it's in an abandoned mall" video really make me wish there was a movie about two teenagers trapped in an abandoned mall together and just when one of them is breaking down in tears because they fear they might never be able to leave the abandoned mall, the other one plays this over the loudspeaker and they start dancing to this together while imagining an entire fantasy ballroom around them and for those brief 3 and a half minuets they both feel at peace and in the moment. That would be a beautiful moment in a movie, and I really wish that movie was real
I can happily say that I had a similar moment, I was in 9th and (at that moment) my crush and I were practicing a song we were going to dance for her 15th birthday, I remember that there were 4 days left until her birthday party so we decided to practice in the ballroom where the party would be (Btw this ballroom was pretty big and it had a very beautiful reverb), our instructor was there, but then he went to the restroom while we were dancing, she was worried that she would forget the dance steps because our instructor wasn´t there, the only thing I said was "Just follow me", we replayed the song and danced while singing the song and looking at our eyes, the moment of just the two of us dancing and singing in a big ballroom at night was just of indescribable beauty, we nailed every dance step just perfect and gained confidence, and yeah, we almost kissed but we heard the instructor coming from the restroom, after that rehearsal we were prepared for that day and we did just amazing at her birthday party. We danced "Let It Be" by The Beatles Now that I´m writing this it does sound like a movie scene lol
it's giving the "you might wanna go home because it's literally 2:30 in the morning but you wanna vibe to the music and experience the ones in a lifetime moment" feeling
For some reason my feet are tingling and it's so nostalgic. This makes me sad, anxious and calm at the same time. It gives me such wierd and mixed feelings.
When I was 4-5 years old I remember this song playing when me, my mom and brother were riding in the subway train. I think my brother and I were listening to this song or something similar to it. Even to this day I like subway stations and going on the train. It is both calming and exciting. One day I might go exploring in a subway station on my own or something.
I think it is the layout of the stations and like one of those areas where there is a small store and bathrooms. Now that I think of it, it gives a backrooms vibe when it is empty at night.
I just wish we had the entire mall to ourselves, we're just dancing running, eating all we want in the food court, and driving that mini car that sells for 3M dollars in the middle of the mall. We can go anywhere we want, and we carry that nostalgic, sad, happy, exciting feeling within us. My friends, I wish you were here. I like to make myself believe...💜
i remember when my dad got really obsessed with this song. i remember swimming in my nonnas giant pool, there was just laughter, chatter and well this song. the heat was just crazy, it was so hot that the water seemed cooler than it was LOL- memories man, i wont ever get to experience moments like that again
Arstotzka has won the war. You fought hard with your brothers and a peace treaty was signed, cutting better deals for Arstotzka. You take a break from marching as your company rests in a small suburb area. You walk into an empty mall early in the morning to check out all the cool foods and shops left abandon. But the war has left the mall untouched. This song echos through the mall as tears fall from your eyes. You sit down remembering those you lost and those who have survived. You remember all the memories you made as you review your life. You spend the rest of the early hours listening to the echos of songs. Life is good.
Can I imagine if there was no security guard on duty in an empty mall and u could play any music over the loudspeaker and dance wildly in a deserted building like no one's watching?
I remember hearing this in Walmart all the time but it'd only ever be loud enough to just about make out the chorus, but even that was enough to damn near make every hair on my arm jump off
LOL most shopping centres in the United Kingdom are not even open at 2:30 in the morning and this is the perfect example although most of the shops wouldn’t be empty they would just have shutters on them Apart from the 24 hour ones if there was any
This is so creepy but I love it:) I just wish in videos like this they would show more parts of the mall. Instead of one big part like shown in this vid
Can imagine if that same mall close by was still there as I remember as a kid going to and smell from the food court and leaving it a good memory I had. But this song really hits me in the feels now
This has the vibes of ether you and your friends snuck in after close and are strapped with amazement and wonder and are going to have the night of your lives, or you got locked in and someone going to drive you insane or kill you.
The good mall ending: you escaped the entities by going through the fire exit. You look at your watch same time you were trapped. Now leave. The song is a timer. Run.
