I sent an email in April 2021, no worries if the photos were too low quality, but wondered about turnover time. Should I resend? I'm a collector by the way. Thanks, Daisy.
@@dayzfallingdownx190 I’ve been working from the oldest to the newest, and there have only been a few I couldn’t use. I’m sure yours will be up soon enough! :)
The crossword puzzle tattoo doesn't end up looking like a crossword puzzle because the words have empty spaces before, between, and after them (and even multiple words within a single connected row). It would have been pretty easy to accomplish a realistic take without losing anything, but they either didn't bother or didn't consider it. Luckily, you could likely fix it by blacking out some of the currently open squares.
giving that only one single word even crosses over another word and all the others are just like on a piece of paper... i'd say it's not really fixable. great idea, execution not so much
@@rigdigwus There could be rows and columns left unfilled as if they hadn't been solved yet. That would allow you to keep the spacing. Still isn't close to ideal, but it could make it better.
I don't have tattoos, but you are very entertaining. I love the work you put into cinematography and editing. I've watched a bunch of these and continue to!
This is so late but the "farm/milk jugs" in the background of the cow tattoo is probably a grain elevator. They're a pretty iconic part of the Canadian prairies. The outline looks like Manitoba.
I really like these tattoo critique videos! As someone who would like to have tattoos one day, these videos make me aware of what to look for in an artist’s work.
The one sent in by Joel looks like the Province of Manitoba in Canada. It could be either a cow since they're raised in Manitoba or a buffalo since it's an animal that represents the province
Voiceover production is very good in these brotha makes a HUGE difference, i think i can speak for all of the fellow recording nerds watching your shit when i say thank you for taking the time to get the sound made right.
Thanks for the critique, Pony! My artist did a great job of bringing my idea to life. He captured all five elements that I wanted, without it being “cluttered.” I have seen that happen in other tattoos before. I do agree about the gladiolus flowers; they are a bit lackluster. It healed really well, but you’re right about those two spots - they were a little overworked. Take care and thanks again!
I may be biased, but the Athena tattoo is my favorite (the subject aside, it's still great). The back tattoo is def a very close second though! And the little reaper doggy is cute.
I'm getting my first tattoo in october. I will definitely send it in once it's done! Finding a good artist who does the style I want, took forever. Especially since mine is only in the country every couple of months, for like a week. So appointments are limited. I'm already so hyped up lol.
The hard to see photo was a tattoo of Manitoba, Canada with a cow (?), wheat and a railroad grainery in the background. I'm making these assumptions from being from Saskatchewan myself.
Hey pony I started drawing in lockdown to pursue an art career specifically tattooing. Would you critique just some flash I've drawn so I can get some structural advice in ways to perform better . ? Thanks if you reply if not awesome videos gives me alot of future knowledge of small things to keep in mind
The Est 2000 with the XXs is a reference/homage/copy of the tattoo MGK has on his chest. The XX is part of his whole trademark, so I guess this guy is an MGK fan ?
That back piece and the Athena look great! I would wear both of those! Also if you actually read this Pony, I'm gonna retake my picture and send it to you (though I thought it would have been high enough quality). Hopefully you use my Moana tattoo soon 👏
it bothers the shit out of me that the crossword puzzle tattoo isn't an actual crossword puzzle. on the dragonball tattoo: the left arm of Vegeta looks so weird. what is that thing haha it looks like there is a finger with a nail coming out of his shirt
I love the idea of the crossword puzzle, but the artist should not have had the words fall in the middle of blank spaces as if its missing letters. They should have made the black squares fit the words.
I'm a day late >.< Can I suggest again that collectors have to include the artist? To each their own, but "Established [year]" tattoos always make me cringe.

@@PonyLawson Thanks, I'm absolutely not trying to get it moved up the pile. Just curious. Thanks for taking the time to answer. Love your channel.
Does anyone have a more magnetic personality than Pony? Whether on Instagram or YT, the dude seems like such a genuinely nice guy!
I really liked the back tattoo with the lady and dog faces. Very creative and unique. ❤
The little reaper dog is adorable. 😊
This is my new asmr channel, seriously! Love the jingle, the structure, Pony’s soothing voice and well-structured input and advice.
omg same I thought I was crazy 🤣
Yeah, I love Pony, he's awesome!❤️

I love how much fun Pony has with the intros and how they keep getting cheesier and cheesier. The graphics and video editing are *chef's kiss*
I appreciate your critiques and how knowledgeable you are. Truly could listen to you all day. Thanx
The crossword tattoo is so sick because it's a stand alone piece but also a memorial, love that concept.
I don't have tattoos, but you are very entertaining. I love the work you put into cinematography and editing. I've watched a bunch of these and continue to!
Great show that starts with such a mesmerizing intro: who made that beat?
Agreed. The intro is sick.

And the background appears to be grain elevators.
Definitely looks like a buffalo, to me. I wasn’t sure if it was farm structures or a rock landmark in the background.
I saw the thumbnail and I started smiling so big!!!! Yay Pony!!!!😄🥳🎉♥️

It’s a gorgeous tattoo - also, very touching ❤️

It was a very close one ;)
These videos feel so short witch speaks to the quality

The "Farm" tattoo is Manitoba.
Lmao. I was like..... This is not MN. Hahahaha
The grainy one is the outline of Manitoba, grain hoppers are all over the province, and the provinces animal is the bison
Can confirm. It's Manitoba. A bison, wheat, and grain elevators in the background.
The hard to see photo was a tattoo of Manitoba, Canada with a cow (?), wheat and a railroad grainery in the background. I'm making these assumptions from being from Saskatchewan myself.
I need merch that says "and things like that". Pony says it repeatedly in every single video yet somehow no one has mentioned it!
honestly I'd watch a whole video of them just trying to identify what the tattoo is in blurry pictures
Pretty sure that EST. 20XX is just a copy of the top of MGK's chest piece. So not a mistake at least hah
of course the manitoba tattoo with the bison is scuffed lmao

Wish these were longer or u would post multiple videos a week

I didn’t realize anyone was a big enough mgk fan to get a tattoo homage to him lol
Steve's "toilet tattoo" just needs a lot of outlining and additional shading and it could be great.
That back piece and the Athena look great! I would wear both of those!

Vegito**
I personally love that tiger tattoo wirh rhe bamboo. It reminda me of an Asian type of atwork.
I love the idea of the crossword puzzle, but the artist should not have had the words fall in the middle of blank spaces as if its missing letters. They should have made the black squares fit the words.
Wait.. in the dbz tattoo, isn't the head waaay to big compared to the body ?😭 or maybe is it on purpose
Early gang!!
Who framed Pony Lawson
Do you take tattoos that aren’t my art and it’s not my artwork? I’d like to send my soon to be artists work in.
Saying dragon ball is yo-gi-oh is Sacrilegious. And that would happen to be ssgss Vegito. 😒 lol
It’s a Buffalo with Colorado rocks
Waiting for my work
Is that a stencil of trump in the intro?
I only trust Michela or Flip @ SOHO Ink for my anime tattoos.
the backpiece seems a bit crooked on the back :/
It's definitely not MN! Lol
The Goku tattoo is pure example, when you should sue your tattoo artist.
Omg the EST tattoo is a copy of Machine Gun Kelly's chest piece 🤣🤣
I really would want him to critique my tattoo, but I think he is gonna tear it apart hard lol
Nothing wrong with that, just makes room for improvement, best of luck! 🤟
I'm a day late >.<
Can I suggest again that collectors have to include the artist?
To each their own, but "Established [year]" tattoos always make me cringe.
That Vegito looks terrible, I'm sorry to say that, but it have to be said
