I was in the grandstand it was really great lots of Checo chants and general hype for him and verstappen. Very hype atmosphere excited for tomorrows race

But being 8 tenths off the pace is way too much. 2 Drivers should be within about 0.3 seconds of eachother on a single lap according to Helmut Marko, their boss. If not, you don't extract the ultimate potential out of the car and thusly don't deserve a seat in the car.

@@DJ_OLOG Well, Bottas and Perez are making more of a difference in constructors' championship than Verstappen and Hamilton, imo. Bottas is the reason why Merecedes leads by 36 points while Lewis loses to Max by 6 points.
I was there...they oversold GA by 50k...over 400k people attended over the three days. Getting out of there was a logistical nightmare. Literally stuck for hours and walking a half-mile to get to rideshare locations. For the money you spend to attend, you should never have to walk through fields of mud or be stuck for hours on end w/no way to get transportation out.
Wow i was planning on going with my uncle for the 1st time but tickets were 400 each at the time. Adding another 150 for gas parking and food💀 Maybe next year but i hope you enjoy yourself!
@@omarcasali5301 tickets were initially going for $300 for a 3 day pass on turn 19 bleachers. That’s where I’m at. Now they’re up to $500+ per ticket. To answer your second question, there are more Max and Checo fans than anything else. I’d honestly say there are more McLaren fans than Mercedes too.
This sport is getting better and better with every race. Nice to see an excited championship again. Regardless of who wins, Ham or Ver, the fans are the winners this season.
This season is amazing guys, can't say it enough. We are experiencing history. Even qualifying between these two teams is more intense and entertaining than some entire F1 seasons.

He is finally using his own set up now since last race, previously he was using Max's car set up, hence sudden difference in performance. As a checo fan i am beyond thrilled.

@@path7748 The problem is...he made into Q3, but being 0.8 slower than Gasly. That's huge margin, but most drivers in Q2 were those, who take grid penalty anyway. Still, we have to respect the fact, it's first time for Yuki on this track.
Yeah I mean its nice and all but he is clearly not on par with Gasly. Sure gasly is not the new boy in F1, but with the same car he can do so much more. I am not only talking about this weekend, I am talking about the whole season so far. I mean, he is just underperforming and tbh im surpirsed that alpha tauri didnt ditch him. 1st time being at a race in person, down at turn 15. It started raining very very lightly(it stopped as soon as it started) but it was right as max was on his final flying lap in q3. Super exciting day. This race is going to be epic. I just want max and Lewis to both finish the race. I really want to see that battle play out
COTA was an absolute mass of bodies on saturday. It's the biggest party I've ever seen, this event. Everywhere theres space to watch the track in this vid, theres just so many people.
My prediction for this race would be on the first lap that Max and Lewis will come together on the run up to turn one after lights out and cause the largest crash of the year, a hard 9 -car shunt that takes out VER, HAM, NOR, LEC, BOT, GAS, OCO, RAI and MAZ. With the craziness, it causes the first safety car to be deployed and COTA in 7 years. That shake up leaves SAI as the race winner followed by RIC and PER.

2008 trumps this season. If you watch the whole season it was amazing, so many different winners, so many different podium sitters, the midfield were closer than the midfield are this season. And of course the infamous last corner of the season championship deciding battle.
@@eggselent9814 1982 is like the OG season. Everyone speaks of 2012 but its honestly not even close. 1982 literally had everything. Excitement, tragedy, unpredictability. Drivers strike at the beginning. Crazy Monaco GP. 11 different winners from 7 different teams out of 16 races. 2 drivers lost their lives and Championship leader got injured missed the last 5 races but in the end lost the championship by only 5 points to a guy who just won his first race and prior to that season scored only 6 points in his career. No driver won more than two races that year. 5 drivers won their first GP that year one of them was the eventual champion and that was his only victory that year. For 9 consecutive races from Detroit GP until Italian GP every race was won by a different driver which meant new winner every race. How crazy is that? Somebody needs to make a video about that season its time for people to get acuainted with it and stop milking the 2012.

probablemente haya sido mejor un 1-3, porque si los dos tenían a Hamilton detrás, la coordinación de la curva 1 podía volverse demasiado difícil y podría haber habido la chance de un choque entre los mismos RB. Hamilton regardless of his quite clearly poorer driving this year still made the season entertaining. @@path7748 The problem is...he made into Q3, but being 0.8 slower than Gasly. That's huge margin, but most drivers in Q2 were those, who take grid penalty anyway. Still, we have to respect the fact, it's first time for Yuki on this track.

Yeah I mean its nice and all but he is clearly not on par with Gasly. Sure gasly is not the new boy in F1, but with the same car he can do so much more. I am not only talking about this weekend, I am talking about the whole season so far. I mean, he is just underperforming and tbh im surpirsed that alpha tauri didnt ditch him. They usually do their underperforming drivers like that. Not that I am sad about this, I am really happy that he has another chance, but I just hope that he can do better next season with the new car and all.
Lets see what the next season will bring but here is my unpopular opinion: Even Mazepin performs better than Tsunoda. With the same level of car, I am pretty sure mazepin can easily outperform tsunoda

1st time being at a race in person, down at turn 15. It started raining very very lightly(it stopped as soon as it started) but it was right as max was on his final flying lap in q3. Super exciting day. This race is going to be epic. I just want max and Lewis to both finish the race. I really want to see that battle play out

My prediction for this race would be on the first lap that Max and Lewis will come together on the run up to turn one after lights out and cause the largest crash of the year, a hard 9 -car shunt that takes out VER, HAM, NOR, LEC, BOT, GAS, OCO, RAI and MAZ. With the craziness, it causes the first safety car to be deployed and COTA in 7 years. That shake up leaves SAI as the race winner followed by RIC and PER.

No, it's just that we've been starved of a genuine title fight for so long, it feels that way.
2008 trumps this season. If you watch the whole season it was amazing, so many different winners, so many different podium sitters, the midfield were closer than the midfield are this season. And of course the infamous last corner of the season championship deciding battle.

Drivers strike at the beginning. Crazy Monaco GP. 11 different winners from 7 different teams out of 16 races. 2 drivers lost their lives and Championship leader got injured missed the last 5 races but in the end lost the championship by only 5 points to a guy who just won his first race and prior to that season scored only 6 points in his career. No driver won more than two races that year. 5 drivers won their first GP that year one of them was the eventual champion and that was his only victory that year. For 9 consecutive races from Detroit GP until Italian GP every race was won by a different driver which meant new winner every race. How crazy is that? Somebody needs to make a video about that season its time for people to get acuainted with it and stop milking the 2012.

probablemente haya sido mejor un 1-3, porque si los dos tenían a Hamilton detrás, la coordinación de la curva 1 podía volverse demasiado difícil y podría haber habido la chance de un choque entre los mismos RB. A como están las cosas, si Hamilton apuesta a lo seguro en la curva 1, Verstappen tiene la ventaja, y si arriesga, Checo tiene la ventaja
