Ultraman was my FIRST hero show and the original '66 seris remains one of my all time favorites that I'll never get tired of watching. This figure represents the C-Type costume almost perfectly and will remain in my collection and on my desk forever, barring some incredible figure innovations to get a fully suited 1/12 scale figure that looks as good (I'm excited to see the light up features on the Mezco One:12 version coming out, but that cloth outfit is not very appealing). Now if Figuarts would just release the SSSP team--or at least Hayata!
@@bringapow_toys2285 I imagine it's similar to Doctor Who for fans--the older stuff definitely looks dated compared to new stuff, however if you grew up with it then you appreciate it for the nostalgia and how it made you feel back then. Frankly I think the original series still holds up today and is comparable to watching older Godzilla films.
This video was a reminder for me to track this figure down. I have a lot of the recent Ultraman figuarts and the old Ultra-Act figures. This is hands down the best. And props on the Tommytech building suggestion. I have to get few of those for background pieces. Great review!

And side note that the two gripping hands on the package are actually handshaking hands for this figure and Ultraman Tiga to recreate a specific scene from the Ultraman Tiga series.

Damn, if I didn't already have the 2016 release Tamashii did of the original Ultraman I'd definitely get this one, looks way better, just not really in the habit of rebuying characters I already have unless the original figure I have is awful, which the one I have is still serviceable.
I just want Nexus Anphans, Junis Red, Junis Blue, and Ultraman Noa done like this! Heck would even love the Dark Ultras of Nexus done is Shincchochou Seihou style. I would gladly give my money for a figure like that.
I need help this line is better ? I have my figures Ultra from the line Ultra act they are the same size? Is better replace all the ultraman act for this new line?
There's really no point in him reviewing it since he already reviewed the old one. Thw only major difference between the 2 are that the long scarf piece is replaced with a cloth one with a wire inside to be able to bend it.

This is the best figure out there of Man Nii-San, period. It definitely blows the OG Figuarts out of the water.

This is my 2022 Figure of the Year and I bought a LOT of figures this year! Ultraseven needs the Shinkocchou Seiho treatment.

I mainly got this to go with my SH Figuarts SS Ultraman Tiga.
I having hard time to setup beam pose for SHF version but not Shinkoucchou Seihou.
This is definitely a must get for me. He’s looking excellent! Also looking forward to Mezco’s rendition.
