This video supposed to be about visual but i get amazed more about how much thought and love given to this movie by the film maker itself. They really did their best and more. They deserve the success they get. Now i will wait for the western release

I think unlike Toei, Tsuburuya is quite generous when it comes to releasing their media globally so it's safe to assume we might get Shin nternational release in the future
The Shin film project is the Neo-Showa Era of Japanese cinema we all need. I just found out that Cospa is making a limited production run of Hideaki Anno's "Return of Ultraman" jacket.
Been waiting for this video, and I was not disappointed. Hoping you would do more Tokusatsu videos in tne future, especially the Ultraman Series. Keep these great videos coming! 👍

If a Shin Gamera movie would ever come to life, I want the same type of special effects used in Shin Godzilla and Shin Ultraman but also use other effects like animatronic puppets and monster gloves.

I want my gf and friends to watch the original series before they ever watch Shin, but I totally get how it looks very outdated/goofy by today's standards. Kinda like trying to convince people to watch older Doctor Who when they've only seen the recent episodes. I may just have to keep my excitement of callbacks/references to the original series to myself whenever we end up watching Shin.
This is basically a retelling of Shin Hayata as Ultraman, hence "Shin Ultraman". But I do agree, the 60's show does look outdated, but there are plenty of recent Ultraman shows to be found on Tsuburaya's TH-cam channel. 😉
The 60s show may look dated, but I think it has a lot of charm in it! But yeah, Tsuburaya's official channel recently began to show Ultraman series for free with subtitles! And more recently, the CGI in the shows has really improved! But as for the goofy part... well Ultraman is pretty goofy anyways(except a few shows), but can be surprisingly heartwarming!

‘Cg costs a lot of money’-how so, you mean the programmers’ salaries? It’s not like you buy new computer hardware for every film, so where is the money spent besides the folks working the software to produce the cg?

Shin Godzilla's is actually really well done! But Shin Ultraman's is actually pretty competent from what I can see! Nonetheless, I'm excited to watch it!
Meh... SFX was horrible. I was really hoping this would even outdo this teaser distributed back in 2016 with lots of excitement but with no follow-up. th-cam.com/video/IjOvth3O2Vs/w-d-xo.html Just look at how organic the Ultraman is in the 2016 version. I had my hands in the air with disgust when the Shin Ultraman flew... It reminded me of the cheap model figure tethered by wire used in the original TV series.
I love that everything at the core of shin Ultraman is rooted in the original series and its production. It just shows how much a need the crew is
This thought process shows the love and admiration for the franchise. Wish hollywood movied had this amount of love behind their effects.
